1. Mike L talking to my daugher and her opponent at NW Regionals after their match was completed. My daughter was in awe after talking to Mike L. She thinks he is really Cooool......

2. Being awarded a specially made Slaking pillow at NW Regional made by Nurse Joy from Oregon

3. Seeing organized play grow here in the NW due to the great TOs, Players, Parents, Professors, Store Owners, League Leaders, League Owners, volunteers..........etc....They all do a great job

and on the way back, i had 15 mins to get my ticket, go through security, and then get on the plane.

Coming down with laryngitis DURING Northwest Regionals.

Really. I had a mild sore throat by the first round, and by the end of the 6th round, I could not speak at all.

Playing 4 play-off rounds without saying anything sure was fun.
 
-being asked by Dave Schwimmer during US Nationals preregistration to help with deck checks, and then getting a Nationals Staff promo card.

-Also, watching Michael Pramawat win the finals at Glen Burnie CC on turn 2 with Politoed ex, and then at Mechanicsville BR, he lost the third game in the finals (Fire Monkey mirror match) to Jon Anderson on turn one!

-Making Single elimination for the first time (7th place MD States).
 
I discovered the Snapple drinks when I was visiting NY.

i know this isnt big but me and my friend spent a week on a rogue deck for the first city championships this yr. and i made it to the top 8 for the first time. i was so happy that i made it.
 
Seeing a rogue Gardevoir ex deck I made t4 at midatlantic regionals.

Later at nat's seeing my gardevoir deck make what was probably the most amazeing move in the whole tourny that went somthing like this.(this is all from memory, also words just don't do it justis)

Gardy vs/r-gon

It was late game, my brothers opponent had 2 prizez left and a ray ex active, no dmg. My bro. had a gardy ex active with I think a casty on it, on the bench he had a altaria ex and a gardy ds. His opponent uses special circut on his altaria ex leaving it with 50hp. My brother then top decks his latias* that he had farmerd back the last turn, playes it down, rarecandy's another gardy ds, retreats the gardy ex for latias*, moves :fire: from one of the benched gardy ds to latias*, uses extra boost to gardy ex, attaches a castform, nrg jumps to latias* and uses shooting star FTW. It was amazeing watching him make this play, I had thought that he had lost, and that their was no way for him to win. His opponent, who had also thought that he had won looked realy shoked. Lesson learned, never count your pikachues before they hatch. :lol:

Actually, that's what all the OTHER Northwest Regional players said was one of their highlights - you being unable to speak during the tournament.

This has been an incredible season for me, so much happened. Consequently, my reply to this topic became a bit longer than other people's replies. Too long for Pokégym, which doesn't let me post long replies. >_<
