wow entry fee for a-kon.... hopefully i can afford that.... wow.... it might be cheaper on me to go to Houston or San Antonio or Oklahoma.... :/
 
If you checked the other thread MPBirch said its $10 for a one day and $20 for a weekend pass... plus we get reimbersed 2 packs for our troubles.. so not a bad deal, and fairly cheap IMO
 
For those who don't already know, the Houston GC is on May 28th in the Woodlands (Holiday Inn Express). It says so on the OP site (checked 15 mins. ago). Just thought I'd pass that along.

Are there any players coming down for the Space Center GameBoy Championships this Saturday, May 6th. I'm looking to fill a few staff positions. Please let me know if you're interested. There is a dress code.
Staff will get 6 booster packs per hour. Packs will either be Legend Maker or Holon Phantom or a combonation of both.

so yeah i might be going to the San Antonio/Houston Gyms hopefully.... thinking about carpooling.... if anyone wants to go and would like to carpool (chiping in for gas is a must....) PM me and let me know or call me if ya have my cell.... Oklahoma people the offer is open to you as well.... especially them Oklahoma girls.... lol ;) sorry but no sooner stuff in my car .... sooner parafanalia=no ride lol

Houston Gym Challenge has been moved to June 4th.

It will be held in The Woodlands at the Holiday Inn Express.

Yeah gonna be another awesome event run by Birch, I'm still not sure wut I'm gonna play. Just can't wait to see wut decks there will be in the top cut...gonna be pretty crazy. :)
 
SA is right before my birthday. Would be great b-day present if nephew won. I would like to win but would be more fun for me if nephew did. I would be happy with making a non-Limited format cut.
 
yeah it would be an awesome b-day present if i could all go to these gym's and hopefully win at one.... my b-day is also around those days.... My B-day is June 1 when's yours Robb ?

That's right!!! Only two more weeks until the most exciting time of the year!!! The "Road To Worlds 2006" will begin. The big Pokemon Weekend got cut in half by Team Cook. But, we will still make it happen in San Antonio!!! We will party hearty in this beautiful city!!!:biggrin: Pokemon players, we will kick off this great run of tickets to "Worlds 2006" with a BANG!!! We will remember the "Alamo City" as where it all began.:clap: :clap:

Get those decks playtested!!! Remember the sleeve policy..no art work (except Japanese Pokeball) and shiney sleeves will be allowed. Read the previous posts. And if you still have questions, please ask on this thread, email, or call MP Birch.:wink:

But Birch, the new rule allows you to use those Japanese Pokeball sleeves, and not Pokemon-illustrated ones, right?
 
No GBA Events at Gym Challenges

There will be no "GBA Events" at MP Birch's "Gym Chellenges". These "Gym Challenges" last a long time as it is.
