Yes that is very possible. The trick to that though is to have at lest 30 damage on the Keldeo (usually from a night spear while it was on the bench) and then to come up with Hydreigon and hitting it for 140 which is 170 damage total and the knock out. When they lose that many energy it hurts.
 
It all depends on your area. If you see Blastoise/Keldeo, tech in a Mewtwo/Shaymin/Virizion EP. If it's Landorus, tech in a keldeo. If it is Darkrai/Hydreigon, play max Blend.

I like Sigi a lot in this match-up, but with recent testing and general preference I find mewtwo to be tons better. Virizion is really good if you want to do well in the prize trade. It OHKOs keldeo and isn't easy to OHKO back becuase of resistance and eviolite.

Yes in theory, but that is why you run 4. What would you use the other ones for? You also lose 3 energy from your darkrai getting OHKO by a Keldeo AND you lose an extra prize. I guess that's what mewtwo is for. Both are solid techs against keldeo.

it hurts alot, in a deck that can only run 4 and cant really get them back, there are alot of pokemon that need them. hydregion, shaymin ex (usually), and mewtwo ex counter all need them. loosing half of them to a single pokemon is rough.

ditto single-handedly wins games (1-turn hydreigons are killer)
and it's the best starting option

in a deck like this ditto is pointless. you dont need any more denios and that's the only thing ditto would be in this deck. why drop ditto then denio then candt then hydregion when you can just go denio and candy to hydregion. this deck should always have a denio out by the end of T1 anyway.

actually, this is the MAIN deck running ditto.

i'm not sure you quite understand what you're saying.

ditto is for 1-turn dragons, not for getting a "t1 deino"....
deino dies easily in this format. evolving it without waiting a turn is the point...

please make informed comments to help the OP make a better deck.

and for the love of Pete, please spell "deino" correctly.

Deino can't evolve T1 with Ditto...

Yes, I did not say "t1 dragon", I said "1-turn dragon".
Which means being able to slap down a deino/candy/dragon in one turn (one turn after, of course, ditto has already been played).

i like it alot. personaly i like mewtwo over cressilia. it is more versatile and is good at KOing things besides mewtwo.

i would also run 2 claw or 2 eviolight and then add an 8th dark. in my personal experiences dark claw is better to run and the 8th energy gives a huge boost to T2 night spears.
 
Hey Vablakes!! I don't know if you remember me or not but I'm a senior and live in Virginia. I'll see you at VA beach, Richmond, and Midlo!!!! Their are lots of keldeo here in virginia so keep shaymin ex. Also I've been to four cities so far and last one in warrenton I faced 3 keldeo and 1 hydreigon. I think the deck is a smart play. Though I wouldn't keep your hopes up on winning one when the croxtons are around. :(
 
@NeonMandibuzz, I think I do remember you! I'm terrible with names, but I never forget a face. I'll be seeing you there! I'm also a Senior, I have long hair and always wear a Giratina hat. And I try to keep my hopes up, I top cut the one cities I managed to get to last year. With ReshiBoar. You have to be good to top cut with Reshiboar. lol. And thanks for the info! Since I know there will be tons of Keldeo, I think Mewtwo will be the better play. That is very helpful! :)

@fluttercraft, now that I know that there will be tons of Keldeo, I think I will go with Mewtwo. I thought about the 8th Dark, and I decided against it, but I will definitly try another Dark.

i played darkrai hy last week end and got top 4 in washington
-1 stableye
+1 keldeo
if i had an kel i would had gone to top 2
