Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

My Garchomp deck.

I don't have much time now, but I've made a new list that I might post on this topic later.

Why dont you play it with bronzong MT, he will allow you to ditch any card that you want on any turn, it will also make you less dependant on specific supporters like felicity. And why are you going to rebirth 2 pokemon that do very minimal damage? That is a total waste of Garchomp lv X. Try like the previous poster stated Flygon EX d, or my choice Salamence EX.

This deck has huge potential, and Restore adds endless possibilities! Flygon Ex is a must, since its attack combos very well with the Power of Garchomp Lv X plus its body is still nice ^_^. Dusknoir might be nice too, since you could restore it against people with big benches and it would really act as a huge disruption. I so love this deck, and it will be a strong contender of the title in Orlando.

As the above poster stated Salamence Ex is an awesome alternative. I''m surprised of the little light it has gotten in the metagame through the years. I mean 150 for no energy discards, that is awesome. 5 cards from the deck isn't that big of a deal!

I've thought of a lot of next seson techs, including bronzong mt. Also for the EXes, I don't have eather of them... I'd like to have them in here, but there just not avaliable to me. Duskinor would be great, and my bro had one, but without me knowing he traded it... the only one we had... *sigh* I'll try to get another one, though. Also, I would LOVE to put a big hitter in this, but the only good big hitter I have is gallade.

Any way, as I said, I wrote up another garch deck list that's quite diferent, using a few suggestions from here:

Pokemon:18

1X Garchomp Lv.x
3X Garchomp
2X Gabite
4X Gible

2X Weavile
2X Sneasle

3X Pahcirisu
1X Phione

Trainers:22

3X Celeo's
3X Roseanna's
4X Plus power
4X Candy
2X Crystal beach
2X Windstorm
2X TGW
2X Premire ball

Energy:20

6X :dark:
2X :fire:
2X :grass:
2X :water:
2X :fighting:
2X :lightning
2X :psychic:
2X :metal:

So you hope to start with pachi, get sneasle, phione, and gible, next turn get 2 more gibles, then retreat to phione. Evolve snesale with phione, then evolve as many gibles as you can before it's K.O.ed. Then send out weavile, shadow charge and attach to get 2 darks and there weaknes on a garch, retreat to garch, and start hiting them for 110.

What do you think of that?

btw, please state which list your making a coment on now.

wow I really like the idea of using rebirth to get out all the decent stage two cards without having the previous evo's lol i pulled a Garchomp lv.x in the pre-release so is it okay if I make a deck around teh same theme OR IS IT COPYRIGHTED???

It's not copyrighted...

WHY DID SO MANY PEOPLE, ECCEPT THE ONES I KNOW< PULL A GARCH X!?!?!?! AUGH!!!!! I NEAD ONE SO-O-O-O-O BAD!!!!! >:0

I'm running 2-2 Chomp LVX... after prizing 2 Chomp... I'm going 3-1... I need another Rotom in there and I need to drop my hitter/to-be-restored for something better.

3 Gible
2 Gibite
3 Garchomp
1 Garchomp LVX
2 Rotom
3 Pach
2 Phione
2 tech

finally someone mentions rotom XD

Chomp can play around the latilock once it starts restoring as lati only stops evos XD U should be playin discard supporters as your draw anyways (felicitys and/or tv reporter) for the lvl x so rotom is by far the best nrg excel.

Eccept I nead energy in the discard for restore. Even with felicitys it's hard to do that.

I think this may be the deck that I run through Battle Roads. Pachis and Phione for a first trial... see how that does... Sableye and Lunatone may see some play. There is a lot of cards to be considered with Garchomp... but something will prevail.

2 Pachi
2 Phione
3-3-3-1 Chomp
2 Flygon Ex d
2-2 Delcatty

4 TVR
2-3 Felicity
3 Premiere Balls

That is all you need.. trust me! with that much thinning and that much draw and dump, it sets up sick, even with starters! Restoring a Delcatty or Chomp is not a bad thing to get around BF either.

Good Luck with it!

You Know That Anything In The Format can Be Ko'd By this Deck. Its Just Playing it Right.

Garchomp ads 40 before applying weakness and resistance so that means that 110 x2 with lake boundary. 220

which Kos any card

On A more prompt note id tech in a Gallade For the Mamoth Attack. It Lacks Something And Other Than That Ide Tech in 1 empoleon dp for another big hitter. So Thats:

-1 Gardeviour
-1 Blastoice Delta CG

+1 Gallade SW
+1 Empoleon DP

Other Than That Ide Work On Speed To Give This Deck The Boom It Needs.

I Mean Ure Be Stalling and searching and setting Up With furret So It Could Be Alright.i Just Hope Furret Lasts 3 turns

Also Another thing u should think about if ure going 2nd is the 1st turn furret with rare candy so sentret doesnt need and energy attached to it which cold be wasted retreat rather than that just iether batton pass it or retreat it.

So Possibly Up The Warp Points.

Its Just An Idea I Mean U want spead Plus Sudden shock.

And the thing is u cant really use scarmbles in this deck.

Maybe call energy.

The Choices Is Ures.

Luke

*cries* *beats his head against the wall* *cries on*

first off all it would be 70*2 = 140 because the +40 boost would be lost with boundary in play.
and garchomp doesn't hit weakness...

Seriosly, if this would work, who wound't play chomp ?

As he said, chomp doesn't hit weaknes cause he's normal. If your opponent's using somethinh that's weak to dark and you've got wevile SW out, that's were you have them.

^^lol, yeah I wish it worked that way.

As for MrMeches, I'll test it that way, if I can get Flygon EX d.

there truly are my good man, and a definitive list will be around after battle roads, at this point in testing i don't think i agree with most of the posts here on how to play garchomp, but i'm never one to find out how other people play their decks

I wouldn't rely too much on Garchomp Lv. X's attack, it can be really hard to use. If you're not careful you end up sacrificing a Garchomp in order to bring something back, which isn't always worth it.

I use every energy so I can let garchomp do an easy 110 for 3 energy due to rainbow scale. After Garchomp Lv.x's power and plus powers, you can take out most anything in the format. Works against most anything but G&G, mag, or T2 blisey. ( Of the decks I've battled.)

lol ya i play a mag deck n kick the LL's grach but lol =^_^=
