~ New England Platinum PreReleases - CHANGES FOR 2/7! ~

Can't believe this happened tonight when i had plans. Hopefully things'll work out tomorrow.
 
Wow!!!............ The prerelease that is 2 minutes away from me moves to a location which im banned from! So I guess I wont be at any prereleases. How Dissapointing! :nonono::nonono::mad::mad: :mad:.............................Not Cool!

I won't be able to make it. It takes me a buck 30 to get there. Im doin voluneteer work at the Y today until 10. So id be late and unable to register. Johnston pre was 2 minutes from my house and fit perfect on my schedule. I wish the prerelease was at pawtucket not johnston. :(
 
Trying to get a caravan to go from DH to TJ's. I have room for 3 people (maybe only 2 if Shaggy comes with us).


The only good news is that if you can't make this one, there's a Release event Feb 15 at Die Hard Games in Pawtucket RI. (one also Feb 14th at X-9 Games at Hadley MA).
 
Great showing at Batter Up today! Seems everyone had a great time....the bathroom situation was a bit of an inconvenience but most everyone took it in stride and made due. Aimee T said there were about 60 in attendance. One 12 person draft. Smoothly run event! Thanks Ben at Batter Up for hosting all these Poke fanatics! :thumb:
 
I had a lot of fun down in Milford with the Coxes, the Jessings and Arianne and the kids. Tiffany and I decided last minute to go to TJs (we were running late and it's closer). Turns out it all worked out. End of the day yielded:

1 Palkia G LvX
1 Dialga G LvX
1 Giratina LvX
1 Drapion LvX
1 Shining Swablu

In the draft, Tiffany had to decide between a Shining Vulpix or the Dialga G LvX. But, we already have the Vulpix, heh.

I'm really looking forward to States now. There are going to be so many fun new decks!
 
Big thanks to everyone at the transplanted Johnston Pre! Thanks to Mrs. Hart (sorry for calling you so late last night), Mr. Mabray (for letting me know DH was closed and running League (at a BK)), Mama Rock (just cuz ;)), PokeDaddy (for getting in touch with Chuckles & letting her know about the venue change), Taylor's dad and everyone else who arrived at DH and drove up to TJ's! - without you, the event would not have been as much fun, Shaggy, JohnnyBlaze's Leaguers who showed up from NY, & the new Pokémon players (and future Leaguers).

Slops to Jon & Con for not showing. And miscommunication. Won't happen again.

That's New England players for ya.....take it in stride and do what it takes to play Pokemon. Sounds like the transplanted Johnston PR was successful.
 
And the NE fun isn't over yet! Saturday at X-9 Games in Hadley MA and Sunday at Die Hard Games in Pawtucket RI will be Release events! Similar to a Prerelease but slightly different.
 
I don't know. I emailed Tom asking him the same thing. And to remind him to sanction the events! Nothing like a sanctioned event.

He hasn't gotten back to me.

You're welcome on the Friday night deal. We are going to try and make the Pawtucket pre-release but right now its iffy. here's hoping that it gets sanctioned.

Any thoughts on going to the Waterlivet tournamemt at the end of the month?

No release events unfortunately do not have sleeves nor promos.

Haven't thought of the tournament in Watervliet though that's on a Saturday and that's Pawtucket League day (though with the NEW substitute i picked up :lol:....)

Any word on any other pre-states tournaments in the New England region? I'm looking to try my news Dunsparce deck!
