God PKMN=/=Legendary PKMN. Though you could be right about them being shining/star PKMN by default.Mew said:They will probly be like Groudon and Kyogre. Cool but lame.
IMO when they get Released they will be PKMN *
Shadow Lugia would've been(1,000 damage w/no negative effects and 300 HP=making broken cards seem like Mewtwo Delta Lightning). And it's not legal, like I'm speculating these god Pokemon to be.Mew said:Also POP/ PCL is not Stupid enough to make a Card that Obliterates the Game...

Woh there, dude. I'm merely speculating. Though you hafta agree that those two god Pokemon are a lot different than ones like Kyogre & Groudon. They apparently can control time and space, which is far greater than controlling land and sea.Benlugia said:its a flipping jumbo dude. it was released for promotional purposes. try shuffling one in a deck and see what happens. shadow lugia isn't an "actual" pokemon-it isn't part of the pokedex. for them to not release diaruga and pairuga (sp?) as cards would be utterly foolish and illogical. i think you are stressing the term "god pokemon" FAR too much.
If they're in that form in the video game, they'll be in that form in the TCG. Though yeah, it would be bad...Benlugia said:shining/star pokemon by default? again, bad idea. if they were to release them in some twisted way, the closest would probably be in ex form first, then, in a promotional sort of way (non-ex form), then eventually released here in one of our sets (much like how emerald was constructed).
Very true. I'd be one of the first to protest, even if the two Pokemon are horribly broken(which is again, speculation)Benlugia said:the game isn't yu-gi-oh. like stated above, PCL isn't dumb enough to make cards that wouldn't be able to be played--this would cause a revolt. granted, people didn't revolt when they found out that the yu-gi-oh god cards couldn't be played, but thats because they don't have "actual" effects.
charking said:Not that I disagree with your point, but losing wings isn't necissarily a bad thing, especially if it hinders underground/underwater movement.
Though I still agree that it still isn't a relation to Gligar.
And a Pidgey, that's not even a foot tall, can not only lift, but fly 10-year-olds clear across Kanto if needed using FLY. Just because a Pokemon can use an attack don't mean it's physically possible.Burninating_Torchic said:Gligar can use dig. The wings do not hinder underground movement.
Truth. Except Eevee, amirite?:tongue:Burninating_Torchic said:Oh, and, guys, here's another reason that Dorapion isn't related to Gligar - Gligar is Ground/Flying and Dorapion is Dark/Poison. A Pokemon would not change BOTH of its types when it evolved.

Benlugia said:eevee's genetic make up is what makes it react to evolutionary stones, and, the whole "day/night" evolutions.
if dorapion had any relation to gligar, why would it be one of the first pokemon to be caught after leaving the first town? no baby pokemon has been catchable in the wild (with the exception of wynaut, on mirage island, but thats an island thats only inhabited by wynauts ;p). and i doubt that an evolution of a pokemon would be catchable immidiately after leaving the first town. i think dorapion is either the start of its own evolutionary line, or a pokemon that just doesn't evolve (or have any baby evolution).

The Three Pokemon
Okay. So. Another Pikachu rip-off. As if Plusle, Minun, and Pichu weren't enough. It's asking to be road kill! Actually, I think it's pretty cool. All three Pokemon above are actually the first Pokemon you encounter in the game (not the starter Pokemon, as some websites misinterpreted). The scorpion guy looks like he could be an evolution of Gligar, but since we know that WPM can never predict anything, he probably will not be.
