they are "classified" as "god" pokemon. like, rulers of sorts.

They will probly be like Groudon and Kyogre. Cool but lame.
IMO when they get Released they will be PKMN *

Also POP/ PCL is not Stupid enough to make a Card that Obliterates the Game...

God PKMN=/=Legendary PKMN. Though you could be right about them being shining/star PKMN by default.

Shadow Lugia would've been(1,000 damage w/no negative effects and 300 HP=making broken cards seem like Mewtwo Delta Lightning). And it's not legal, like I'm speculating these god Pokemon to be.

its a flipping jumbo dude. it was released for promotional purposes. try shuffling one in a deck and see what happens. shadow lugia isn't an "actual" pokemon-it isn't part of the pokedex. for them to not release diaruga and pairuga (sp?) as cards would be utterly foolish and illogical. i think you are stressing the term "god pokemon" FAR too much.

shining/star pokemon by default? again, bad idea. if they were to release them in some twisted way, the closest would probably be in ex form first, then, in a promotional sort of way (non-ex form), then eventually released here in one of our sets (much like how emerald was constructed).

the game isn't yu-gi-oh. like stated above, PCL isn't dumb enough to make cards that wouldn't be able to be played--this would cause a revolt. granted, people didn't revolt when they found out that the yu-gi-oh god cards couldn't be played, but thats because they don't have "actual" effects.

Woh there, dude. I'm merely speculating. Though you hafta agree that those two god Pokemon are a lot different than ones like Kyogre & Groudon. They apparently can control time and space, which is far greater than controlling land and sea.

They probably are in the same league as maybe Mewtwo, but there is a possibility of them being a little more.

If they're in that form in the video game, they'll be in that form in the TCG. Though yeah, it would be bad...

Very true. I'd be one of the first to protest, even if the two Pokemon are horribly broken(which is again, speculation)

Not that I disagree with your point, but losing wings isn't necissarily a bad thing, especially if it hinders underground/underwater movement.

Though I still agree that it still isn't a relation to Gligar.

Gligar can use dig. The wings do not hinder underground movement.

Oh, and, guys, here's another reason that Dorapion isn't related to Gligar - Gligar is Ground/Flying and Dorapion is Dark/Poison. A Pokemon would not change BOTH of its types when it evolved.

And a Pidgey, that's not even a foot tall, can not only lift, but fly 10-year-olds clear across Kanto if needed using FLY. Just because a Pokemon can use an attack don't mean it's physically possible.

Truth. Except Eevee, amirite?

eevee's genetic make up is what makes it react to evolutionary stones, and, the whole "day/night" evolutions.

if dorapion had any relation to gligar, why would it be one of the first pokemon to be caught after leaving the first town? no baby pokemon has been catchable in the wild (with the exception of wynaut, on mirage island, but thats an island thats only inhabited by wynauts ;p). and i doubt that an evolution of a pokemon would be catchable immidiately after leaving the first town. i think dorapion is either the start of its own evolutionary line, or a pokemon that just doesn't evolve (or have any baby evolution).

It said nothing about it being one of the first catchable... I beleive that it could be an evolution, because Nintendo thought that it looks cool, and would attract a Wider audience, so they revealed it :/

The Three Pokemon
Okay. So. Another Pikachu rip-off. As if Plusle, Minun, and Pichu weren't enough. It's asking to be road kill! Actually, I think it's pretty cool. All three Pokemon above are actually the first Pokemon you encounter in the game (not the starter Pokemon, as some websites misinterpreted). The scorpion guy looks like he could be an evolution of Gligar, but since we know that WPM can never predict anything, he probably will not be.

you were saying?

Yea I wonder what the new time and space pokemon do. What attacks, abilities, etc. Who knows how it changes things. I assume that the pkmn might be psychic types, maybe dark, but since most of the legendaries we have are psychic (Celebii, Deoxys, Mewtwo, Mew, Jirachi, etc.), I think it is safe to say I might be right. (unless some new type is invented)

That was edited out of the original news story because we couldn't get it confirmed. So it's not true.

can i still be better than all of you?

If thats the final evolution of electabuzz, I am truly upset. It looks so horrible. Come on, why make them look so messed up. I think the electabuzz line should have ended at electabuzz and thats final. It looks like there might be a connection and if so, I will be surely disappointed.

I will also like to note that serebii.net has posted a map of the new region in which D/P is set in. If you have not seen this as well, PPNetwork has posted D/P videos in it's D/P game section, if you have not seen the game design and some of the battle action. It looks like a good game so far, so hopefully we get to see more in the coming months.
