I'm gessing that he's talking about hipowdon X. It tells you to shuffle all cards in play back into your deck. Acording to the rule book that I have the lost zone is in play.

However there is a card saying "take some cards from the Lost Zone".
Unfortunately I think that's doubtful since that would turn the Lost Zone into a discard pile with a fancy name.

Hopefully we'll get a Pokemon with a body that prevents the playing of stadiums (yes killed by Dialga GX) or they'll errata it to you win if you get 6 basic pokemon in the Lost Zone rather that any 6 pokemon.

But it excludes Pokemon (and supporters).

No, the Lost Zone is not into play.
You wanna see it ? Just click here !
Those cards both imply that there's more than one Magnezone and Absol Prime, which confuses me. Magnezone Prime (above) scares me though. It's power says "as often as you like during your turn, you may attach an Energy from your Lost Zone to one of your Benched Pokemon." and a single-Metal attack that does 40 and says "You may put one card from your hand into your Lost Zone." Little too much synergy with the previously revealed Zone...

For those of you that care, the Absol's power states that "Once during your turn, if Absol Knocked Out a Defending Pokemon during your last turn, you may use this power. Send that Pokemon and all cards attached to it to the Lost Zone." It's attacks are [D] for 20 and [D][D][C] for 60 (with no effects stated, which seems odd to me).

EDIT: However, reading the beginning and end descriptions for the cards, it says that there are multiple Magnezone and Absol Prime, similar to how there were multiple Arceus Lv.X.

What? Am I missing something, where are you getting this information from?

Haunter – Psychic – HP70

[P] Covert Placement: Place ??? (2?) damage counters on one of your opponent’s Pokemon.
[C][C] Sleepy Poison: The opponent’s Active Pokemon is now Poisoned and Asleep.

Weakness: Darkness (x2)
Resistance: Colorless (-20)
Retreat: 0

The thing is... Gengar is x2 weak to dark. Granted dark isnt a super popular type right now, but if gengar prime gets big, I think dark techs will be more common place. Gengar prime will most likely be getting KO'd before it gets too many energy on it, and the longer it waits, the longer the opponent has to dump all pokemon cards out of his/her hand.

Gengar players wont be using plunge into darkness unless they know there will be Pokemon in the opponents hand(Shuppet, Gliscor, after a lookers or Alph Lithograph). More likely they will curse droplets and then compound pain for multi KOs and Lost Zones.

Also more 50Hp Gastlys make Sableye happy. That is, if Sableye is even still around when this fella comes out.

"Hunter - Supporter

Each player returns 1 of his or her Benched Pokemon and all cards attached to it to his or her hand. You return your cards first."

Wow. I bet this has some cool combos. I hope Mesprit is still in the format when this comes oooout.

Sigh. Hunter ruins an otherwise nice argument.

Yeah, I wrote this before the whole set was published. Obviously this makes Gengar Prime's first attack infinitely better than previously anticipated.

Now with Hunter, Spiritomb, Mime etc. there will be a Gengar Prime deck materials on the table for everyone to utilize. I guess countering that will come down to Stadium denial then.
