New Pokemon.Com Web Site!

The Website is slow, My ratings are the same before City's because i was at 1700.46 and now im at 16.32, and there are ALOT of errors. I dont like this so far
 
They will update the tourneys. I'm sure everyone will get their points. In fact, there are 2 weekends of events to upload due to the downtime...this past weekend and the weekend before that.

i get on it on my ipod and then on the computer i cant get anything. theres just a big banner that says they are making changes. so im assuming tomorrow it will be fully functional? and i cant click on anything.
 
The site keeps freezing, going really quite slow, not loading pages, having errors, and it won't send the email for me to be able to log in. I guess I will keep trying in hopes that I eventually get an email. I have been checking my spam folder as well. I have to keep trying I guess. I do like the new site. It is much better then the old one. I like that I don't get blasted with commercials when I go to the site. I will like it much more if I can log in and when it stops moving so slow and having errors. :thumb:

Yes, it now has a message that it is down for updating. The new site is laid out differently so my saved bookmarks no longer work. If you have a saved link for POP login, you may want to just navigate to www.pokemon.com first and create new bookmark links.

While it was briefly up today I tried to login with my existing ID. This worked but it made me re-authenticate my account to my email address and accept new TOS. After successfully doing that and logging in there are some new information fields that need to be populated in your profile such as create a "sceenname" and reconfirm POP preferences (opt in/out, etc). I had to do this for myself and both of my children associated with my account.

Once that was done... I was rewarded in finding that tournament history after Fall Battle Roads is missing.

The site has been down since then so hopefully they are working all this out.
 
This reminds me of the Japanese Fan Site. The way that you can cahnge your avatar is the same as it is in Japan. Great Job on the new look!!! Its just like the JPN site!!

Only thing is that my rating is incorrect. Guess this will all be sorted out in the coming weeks.

Yes, well, in some cases events uploaded since 11/27/09 weren't appearing. I'm sure everything will come right in the end, just saying, its not because the last two weeks weren't uploaded.
 
it wont let me log in saying i need a parent to authorize my viewing of the site, my birthdate is in 1992 and this was never required before, whats going on?

I was about to post almost exactly this. I don't get what the issue is.
 
The issue is that the site is being updated big time and lots of people are rushing over to see the new place.
If lots of people run into a brand new room that is very small, i.e. Nats inside a small library, chances are that things will slow down to a crawl.
I'm just as happy to see the new place, but I know that it's being updated right now and want to wait till everything is set and ready to go.

I have the same problem. Anyone have a solution for this? Right now I'm going to send them an e-mail from my current address and see if they respond.
Though with all the hubbub and confusion I'm sure they are flooded with e-mails and such right now.
 
I must say that only being able to search the rankings by nation, (with Canada and the United States lumped together) is very, very annoying. I just want to know how I rank against people at my local league.

... and then I almost have a heart attack when I see my rating as 1634.71!!! Way to scare me out of my seat...:frown: I dont know why cause I had even more before on the old site.
Hope thats a good update...
 
The website looks great, but there are still many times where there are problems loading the page. This will all be fixed soon though, I guess, so no complaining.

Now... where are my VGC '10 Rules/Nats. Location? =(
 
The site looks amazing but I am having a terms of use problem as well... I was allowed perfectly fine with my account before. It says my parent or guardian will have to sign in and accept the terms on my behalf... kinda annoying that im 17 and this needs to happen for a pokemon website but im sure it will be fixed.

Should I get the person who was my guardian for my pop account to sign in and accept these terms? Is this what it means?

I even tried the "find my username" and it acts as if I've never had an account or something, saying that it's "Unable to find an account using the provided information" when I give the e-mail that I used. This is a lovely sign, amirite? We want dates for bigger tourneys, but all they'll have time for is fixing the site because it's half broken. *sighs*

Seems like any tournaments and leagues from the beginning of the City Championships on aren't there. I guess this will be fixed soon, since they just have to import the current database.
