ok i dont want to be a grave digger here but i think plox might come back next set because of upper energy. What decks do you think are gonnna use it.

It's a bad Scramble, when you're losing it counts as a Double Colorless. Hopefully it will make GG viable again but definitely not broken.

I don't think GG will make much of a comeback. First, there's only Upper Energy, which counts as a weakened Scramble Energy. Scramble Energy and Double Rainbow Energy made GG the deck it was. Also, if GG happens to start dominating, there are plentiful counters for it. Last season, the only good weakness-hitting counter that existed was Banette - there were no other good Psychic Pokemon around at all (oh, except for Gardevoir). Now we have AMU, Dusknoir, ToxiTank, the new Gallade Lv.X, etc. All of those decks can OHKO Gallades and Gardevoirs left and right with a Lake Boundary in play (or that new SP Lucario).

Upper Energy will give it strength, but it's not enough.

Flygon and Flygon X are awesome, as is Volkner

Beedrill will probably see play, and there are quite a few good SP cards in the set.

Going off topic a bit here but I just realised something about Beedrill ok bench space wise, four beedrill claydol and azelf, so you cant play Cherrim/Shaymin/Uxie/More

You mean Upper Energy?

1 or 2 wouldn't hurt in decks that need 1 whatever and 2 Colorless to attack, which is a lot of decks.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Flygon could DEFINITELY make use of it.

Flygon has better things to do as bother with Upper Energy though.
Everybody is gonna LOVE the next set. GG will be present in several Nationals, but I can't see the deck actually TAKING one of them.

Upper energy is going to be used in many decks, Machamp, Slaking, and any other decks that use colorless attacks in general.

Upper energy being able to be attached to basics and Energy Gain make CCC attacks on big SP pokemon easy to pay for.

Can you name a few Prime? Aside from some of the stuff in POTF, I can't. Yeah, there's Machamp GL but he's not all that great attacking wise as it'll only do 30 to SP's and 60 to evolved Pokemon.
