Magic Mew - I'll think about taking out the oaks but I'm not sure about replacing them for another 1-1 starmie.

guess great minds think alike lol, i waz thinking of a build like this aswell but my trainer lines a bit different anyway i think ur playin way too many

energy all the pkm in this dek only need 1 or 2 energies 2 attack so y play 15 u should probaly try to fit 2 more roseannes and i think quick ball

can work well in this deck oh and definently Azelf lv x

boastersupreme270 - I was actually on the fence with maybe getting rid of the calls and adding 2 more roseannes and 2 more of something else, call only helps turn one and the rest of the game they are a dead draw. I'm not sure about quick ball. Also as I stated before, no doubt azelf X helps, but I just don't have the money for it right now so I'm going on a no azelf approach.

Buping - Looking for more suggestions

Second bump - anyone have any playtesting help they can give as well? I can't be the only guy on gym playing this variant

I prefer 7 Water, 4 Call, 4 Psychic energies. I also don't know how useful SSU would be here, mainly because you only have 2 of them in the list. If you time your Spiritomb drops right you might not need them.

Or maybe I'm just biased against SSU because my luck is pretty bad.

i dont think u should drop the call because if you get turn 1 call u basically win and the reason i suggested quick ball

is because u dont have alot of different pkm so wat evr u get from pkm will most likly be a big help.

-2 psy energy
+2 rosseanes

Sounds good, making a fix.

I like your list man!, but why not add 4 call instead of multi? fast build up is always good with a claydol line.

Edit: LOL well you've got 4 call now.

ive tested this dek alot and it works well, u should probaly try 2 go with 3-3 bronzong cause wen i tested it bronzong

always racks up ridiculous damage and try 2 fit a creselia and cress x line it works really well aswell as another devoluer

boastersupreme270 - I think 3-3 bronzong will clutter, and I given thought on cress X, I may give it a try later on. Also, another devoluter is too much, 1 is enough.

Ok.

I've tested this deck a lot

when I say alot, I mean probably over 100 games.

I had a working list of this with DP5 japanese cards like months before we even got frosslass.

actually, there is no CORRECT way to play the list

thats whats soooo great about this list, its techable to your format.

for instance. I run

3-3 frosslass
2-2 claydol
1-1 yanmega
2-2 starmi
1-1 bronzong
1 spiritomb
1-1-1 omistar
1 mesprit

It may seem "all over the place" but in actually its not. Rosans research just grabs what you need depending on what you face.

for instance, I also run 1 lake boundary and 2-2 starmi because Magmortar is big where I live.

I like 1-1 Yanmega, it lets you spread garrentied 1 damage on EVERYTHING (unlike bronzong) to setup for bronzong, and stall a turn for your NRG attachment (so you can attach and rebuild a second frosslass) free retreat is nice too!

I used to play this without omistar.... however

I played games against Torrerra where, I had like 80 damage on like 3 pokemon and

YOU CANT TARGET LEAFEON OR TORRTERRA LV.X with devo!!!11 which STINKS! you will never spread enough to knock out those huge beasts with 10 damage at a time.

soo....

it works liek this, you search early game with Rosans research. You see whats in your deck. if you have helix fossile but no omistar (or ominte) you grab misprit, and you play that to retreave the missing 1 from the prizes.

that way 1-1-1 cant fail you to bad.

all up to you though.

The great thing about any froslass deck is its ability to be customisable. Aside from Frosslass and Bronzong there are many options availible for techs. The key is to balance the amount of options you have in a game with consistency. So if you find yourself having troubles with consistency, perhaps reduce the number of techs you have. If your having a problem with umph try switching some techs around, you'll be surprised at what you find works and what doesnt.
