Lol, yeah, though it seems that we (older players with money) have been steering more towards Modified. Though it is fun playing 4 Rocket's Sneak Attack and 4 Rocket's Trap. And Absol.

Hey totoro, my Dad wanted to know, is food allowed at the tournament building, and will there be a lunch break, and if so, when? Oh and I was curious how many rounds are you anticipating?

Food will be sold by local girl scouts (yup, that does include yummy GS cookies) there will also be a lunch break for those who wish to go elsewhere for food. (But I think that having fun playing Pokemanz and supporting the girl scouts is a better way to do it!) Masters should do 6 rounds (that's just an estimate, folks!) Seniors might get away with 5, and who knows about the juniors?? If Shadow Card can convince his lil Pachi's from Fairfax to come, heck, we might still be playing come Regionals time!

There will be a food vendor on site to sell drinks, snacks and lunch. Coffee and hot tea will be available for those that drink it. There will also be a GS Cookie booth. Bring cash. Places to eat - about 1 mile - are Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, McDonald's, Brother's Pizza. There is a Giant, Safeway and 7-11.

Got a nice BIG dialga doorprize that the players might like. But, he's not exactly a "pocket" monster due to his size. Nice big soft turtwig as well.
Even though Gardy/Gallade players have all they need, how about a 1st ed Japanese Gardevoir to add some bling to your deck???
Oh, yeah, bring your DS Lite, cause someone's gonna get some serious bling (no, it's not a game, and yes, it's from Japan)

You can help by recycling gently used Pokemon cards, deck boxes, play mats, coins and card sleeves. There will be a box at the VA STATES. This is an on-going project. Katie's goal is to make sure that all kids that want to play Pokemon have the opportunity. She will give every player their own deck. In case it would help you to know ahead of time, I will have at least two Modified-legal decks to loan to anyone who needs them. (complete with decklists, damage counters, coin, card sleeves, playmat, etc.)
ShadowCard, I'm not sure you want to play. Think about it, would you really be looking forward to going 0-X again? JK, but you do need to take apart that Donphan/Mr. Mime deck. If you must play Donphan, play it with Jumpluff.
DarthPika, what cards do you still need?
Marives, thanks for the info, and I'll see what I can find. Do the cards need to be Modified-legal, or do you want Unlimited stuff too?
