Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Official PTCGO Bug Thread (Updated 3/7)

I noticed these two bugs while playing the Trainer Challenge:

1) One can play Town Map, after one already has played Town Map, and this thus being a Trainer Card played without effect.

2) Basculin NEX's Bared Fangs ignores Druddigon NVI's Rough Skin. The Druddigon had Damage Counters on it in this case.

Not sure if this is a bug or maybe one of those Random Receiver scenarios.

Anyways I was using my Quad Heatmor deck and had a hand full of fire energys and a Pokedex. I used my Pokedex to set my self up for the next turn. During my opponents turn, they use a Ghetsis and see that I have nothing but energys in my hand. So when it's my turn again, I draw a card and it's completely different than any of the 5 cards I saw in my Pokedex.

This is Most likely a bug. I assume that the game shuffled zero cards back into the deck.

When poison Ko'd my opponents active, he brought up flygon and sand slammer activated when it shouldn't have.

Lets you Colress MCHN when there are 4 Plasma Energy in a public zone (in play, discard), edit: which apparently isn't an issue!

Okay, this bug is really starting to annoy me. It happens when I open other windows when PTCGO is online. When building a deck, any time I click on a card, it will max out. For instance, say I want to add one level ball. Clicking on that will add four and trying to remove one will remove all of them. Luckly, it only happens if I try to serf the web in the middle of a game, but it's very annoying.

Here's an interesting situation.

Was playing the Trainer Challenge to unlock the new decks for Plasma Freeze (and get boosters).

Playing against Tyson on Gold League. He has a odd Grass/Fire deck.
Anyhow I had a Noctowl as the active and hit his Flareon with Fly (hit heads).
Somehow he still attacked me for 60 and knocked out my Pokemon.

It's not a team Plasma Flareon.

So here are the major things that need fixed:

Number of cards in both players decks needs to be viewable at any time.
Superior Energy Retrival should only be able to play if you have energy in discard.
Search cards like Team Plasma Pokeball & Colress Machine should "know" if there are aplicable targets.
Need to move the "end turn" button someplace else, or make it easier to see.

Stuff for trainer challenge:
If the trainers can alter their decks, why can't we do so?
Or be able to play a non-starter deck against them in the challenge.
At the very least let us play them with the basic orange or Power Relay deck.

Eric, these two are straight from the Compendium, and directly contradict your thoughts on at least Plasma Ball.

The game has no knowledge of the contents of your deck. For example, if you search your deck for something and fail, you can still use other cards or effects to search for the exact same thing. (Apr 17, 2008 PUI Rules Team)

The contents of your deck are technically unknown. If an effect calls on you to search your deck for a specific card or category of card, you may choose not to find a card, even if it is present in the deck. (Worlds 2006 PCL Announcement; May 8, 2008 PUI Rules Team)

In the deck build, holding down the Ctrl key while adding (or removing) a card from the deck adds (or removes) the maximum legal number of that card.

Are you using Windows 8? One of the guys in the office had a similar issue on his home computer, running Windows 8. I think he ended up having to monkey with the Sticky Keys setting to turn off the perma-enabled Ctrl key.

Clefable's Moon Guidance fails if the Pokémon it targets was put down into play that turn; it should evolve it regardless of how many turns it has been in play.

Didn't read thread, so my apologies if this has been reported.

Garbodor (SR Plasma Freeze) w/ Eviolite (NVI) did not turn off Snorlax's ability when I had a Float Stone attached to my Cobalion ex (Full Art).

I just had a similar problem. I had an active Garbodor (the one with Garbotoxin) and my opponent had an active Snorlax (the one with Block) and when I attached float stone to Garbodor I was still unable to retreat .

I really really hope they fix the Deoxys bug soon. It makes the card less playable because it can't take out Mewtwo with a DCE.

I used my Lugia EX to attack a Mewtwo EX with a Rock Guard attached, which caused a simultaneous KO. However, I did not take an extra prize for Lugia EX's Overflow when this happened. It's like the game forgot all about Lugia because it got KO'd by Rock Guard.

So I Hypnotoxic Lasered my opponent's Victory Piece wielding Victini-EX into a deep slumber. In between turns he flipped to try to wake up but as I said he was in a deep slumber. But then that Vicitni somehow used Intensifying fire and knocked my Pokemon out. In its sleep! :(
