Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

OREGON State Championship - March 21, 2009

Sounds like fun, but I won't be there this time. Good luck to all participating (particularly the Chins).

hey eleki. Do you think you could give me a ride to or states?
Itd make my ded a little less of a grump.

Your dad lives in the eugene area right?
btw eleki there is no sat leage @ coachin center.
and i can't go to the leage @ glenwood.
but do you want a ride 2 cornvallis?
theres a leage there.

I guess I'll settle for the WA State Trophy instead.

That is so NOT going to happen!

I've got such a faith in the skill of my Washington players, that I will make the following bet:

Should any Oregon player go home with a trophy from Washington State (and I'm talking about ANY trophy 1st thru 4th in each of the three age divisions - 12 trophies in all) then I'll add a pack of Platinum to every door prize give aways at Oregon States.

That's quite a bet david, does that mean richard has to put up the same prize?

Yep. From what I hear BDS is planning about 80 door prizes, so that is 80 packs I'm putting on the table.

(And Levi, I don't have to pay if a player from somewhere other than Oregon takes home the trophy.)

Huh, that's funny, cause I set my WA goal at placing in the Top 4! (Winning was a sort of unrealistic goal
for a first year rookie, so I decided to set the bar kind of low.) But I'll be glad to cost you 80
packs! And they better not be EX packs either!

Right now it looks like Dillon and I will be coming up for WA states, reservations have been made. And
we will either be bringing 3 other Southern Oregon Players up there, or if one of them drop, we'll be picking
up Matt F. on the way up in Eugene! You guys better watch out, the Portland players aren't the only thing
you guys should be worried about up there!

pokeMATHter, you are a very brave man... There will be some tough competition from the Oregon side.
I expect that you better get that box of Platinum ready to go...

WOW, I certainly picked the right tournament to play in this year. I'll see you all next weekend.

Thank you for your generous offer David. I have just as much faith in Oregon players as you do in Washington players, so I will talk to Chris and we'll figure out some kind of equivalent offer for Oregon States. The payoff for that one might have to be at Regionals. It'll sure be nice to have your packs added to the giveaways at Oregon States ... of wait, better not count our Pokemon before they hatch.

BDS
