OREGON State Championship - March 21, 2009

Yea, what a weekend! Oregon takes the Top 3 slots in the masters!!! Where did the Washington Players
go??? @_@ And clint didn't even show up!

I can't wait to see you guys at states, we'll be bringing up some Southern oregon Players, btw, we brought
5 of us Ashland/Medford Players up, and I got 3rd place at 7-2, another player down here got into the
Top 8 with 6-2, we had a player go 4-2, 3-3, and a senior player go 4-2. So a great showing for our
region at WA states! Now it's time for OREGON!! I'm looking for a second trophy to put up in Astral
Games!!!

Congrats you guys did extreamly well this year. You owned us in Maters no arguement there,
we will see next week if it was a fluke or not :wink: Congrats to Lilly for winning Juniors vs our States best Jr player.

ZOWZA ZOO!!! omgosh I just found out what the BIG announcement is gonna be.
All I can say is this :eek: :rolleyes: You gotta be there, don't miss out on this one.
See you all on Saturday. Remember come early registration starts at 8:30am, it is ok to bring sack lunches and tailgate it and most of all be prepared to have lots and lots of fun!!!!
 
^You know, I was on pins and needles waiting for WA states...and now I am so pooped from the weekend..
I'm almost glad I have the next 5 days to recover! :smile: But this is gonna be one heck of a tournament!

I know what you mean I could bearly eat durring the tournemnt and once I was dipatched by BDS I went and pigged out. Then today all I wanted to do was relax. The event yesterday felt mre like a regionals atmosphere then a States. WOW what is regionals going to be like. I can't wait this year the competetion has been awsome.

Honestly, this City season was really my first taste of serious Northern Oregon competition, and we have
a large cast and crew of great players. Some of the battles that occured were just amazing. The bottom
line is that Pokemon is not about the past, no one has the talent to look into the past, and depend on that
to hold up their future. Oregon Pokemon is growing, all over the state, great players are popping up
and making things happen. Don't insert your foot into your mouth until AFTER the tournaments are over.

WARNING: NEVER EVER EVER EVA GET 0.00 HOURS OF SLEEP BE4 A TOURTAMENT! I got REALLY tired and almost conked out during a match. So I am sick now (yes, I do regret it now.) And be4 oregon states i will be sure to get 9 1/2 hours of sleep.HURRAH! no school tommorow! because im sick...

also i would recomend people go back and lool at their citys decks.
some are really good with platinum.
 
Ross won Minn. States with I am sure was a very simialr deck to Tyler N. Poor guy only gained like 50 points though so it must have only been 4 rounds of Swiss. (He could not have possibly lost a game could he?) Its nice to know that we are not the only ones he can beat up on at will!!

yayayaya go metagross from when emerald just came out XD i either got a ride from dad (if he calls back), mom (last resort) or possibly randy if my mom will drive me to his house (that'd be cool cuz we could do DS)
 
The BIG announcement is.... oh wait I can't tell ya until this Saturday :biggrin:

I'm sooo proud of all of the OR-EE-GON players who represented us at WA States. We went up, we answered back and we conquered. But WA has great players so don;t underestimate them we have stirred up a hornets nest and they will be coming down here to "sting" us back so everyone be ready.
Can't wait to see you all on Saturday!!!!!
