My... err... the free willed Tepig threw a strongly worded petition at Professor Juniper. IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!

You know what is ironic about this? I support my younger son playing pokemon because it's non-violent, compared to what other kids are doing (Grand Theft Auto, Halo, etc.)

The image of this game on PETA's website (and I didn't even dignify it by playing the game) is horrifically more violent than anything pokemon has done or published. If my younger son saw this, he'd be upset.

(And just to note that our family does play Halo, but that's the older son.)

->Get to Proff Juniper
->Switch to Tepig
->Use Shame

I about died laughing. I really, really dont want to know what they are reffering to as "Tepig's harsh truth", and yet i kind due just because of how dumb the whole thing is.

Oh god, the ending was actually funny. Its really sad to see that they recognize the humor in Pokemon and not the message, or the community. I really don't think that video will do anything but smear PETA's already shaky reputation. Pokemon will do just fine.

Oshawatt can use "Education" because obviously Pokemon trainers are stupid and need a lesson >_>

This really irks me. Without even delving into PETA as an organization, which I will refrain from doing here, they are woefully ignorant on this subject.

The thing that I find especially impressive is how untimely their attack is. Pokemon Black and White, as well as (I presume) Pokemon Black 2 and White 2, have a consistent theme regarding the well-being of Pokemon, and what it means to be a Pokemon Trainer. The Pokemon Company specifically addressed the idea that Pokemon are an oppressed, abused weapon, and debunked it with the principles of friendship, cooperation, and trust. The entire storyline of Black and White serves as a perfect rebuttal to anything PETA posts. On a fictional game. That promotes inter-species cooperation and friendship.

PETA certainly spends their time well (ok, I couldn't resist one comment about the organization, cut me some slack).

If their argument is "Pokemon are living beings who shouldn't be forced to fight," then they shouldn't make their message rely on the implication that living beings need a specific reason to exist...

They really can't think of a better target than a game that promotes friendship and kindness towards (completely fictional) animals?

Really?

Poor effort, I think.

I played though the entire game, took about 10 minutes... I about died at the 2nd treasure chest, not going to spoil it... LOL!!!
