Another friend out of state went to Target and bought 2 boxes. Lol.

Time to go Target shopping hard tomorrow. At least 2 locations.


Illinois has to have them. No way we are the only competent state that knows the actual release date.
 
I check my local Target here in central Missouri and they did not have any Plasma Blast yet. Neither did the 2 WalMarts I checked.

Maybe the supplier in the midwest hasn't released this early?
 
They are in stock at my target in Indiana. The damage counters look orange instead of red to me, which I like a lot. Got some good pulls too. Catchers, Blastoise, and some others. No EX's though. Those will be a myth from individual packs this set LOL

How is the quality of the sleeves? Are they like
Lucario DP sleeves
MT-MD sleeves

I haven't opened them, I was debating on taking sealed packs to a pre release this weekend for trades xD. Maybe someone who has opened them can comment. I am tempted to crack open some though, I just don't plan on getting anymore elite Trainer boxes

Edit - the insides of the sleeves are silver, not sure if that's an indication of quality. The only sleeves I remember from back then we're Lucario (amazing), Dusknoir, and Regigigas xD. Dat memory. Wish we still got pre release sleeves

Success!

First Target I went to today had 4 left.

I'm buying a box later, so just grabbed 1.

Weird how this one had it and the other didn't. Same town, only 15minutes away from each other.

IIRC electivire sleeves are silver inside, but the quality was bad. The sleeves you mentioned have good quality, but the inside isnt silver :p

Another I opened today had 2 packs of dice but no status markers. Couple that with my first messy box and it would seem the quality control is a bit wonky in some.

Target in Jantzen Beach Portland Oregon had some when I stopped in to buy an XL. Picked one up- pulled squat. Best thing I pulled was a RH Haxorus. Thinkin after my 2 boxes for this set Im just gunna collect URs until the collecting bug finally dies.
 
Bought two boxes today.

First box: Virizion EX FA, Scoop Up Cyclone
Second box: Virizion EX, Virizion EX, Palkia EX FA, no dividers

So quality control might be an issue (as others have said), but I can't complain about my pulls at all.
 
Had them at a target near where I go to league. Girl there got one and pulled three full arts.

I got one and the best card I pulled was a reverse holo Caitlin. It's all a big gamble. Sleeves are cool, though. I've sleeved my main deck with them to see how durable they are. Only time will tell.
 
Sleeves sound like they're similar to the 2009 Professor sleeves (silver lining on decal), so they should be pretty durable. I've had the same set for a good three years now, and they've been through some rough times. They're still holding up.
 
Just picked up one at Target today. Mine turned out to be decent I think.

Some people have raised concern over the sleeves being reflective. Before i go out and buy one of these things, these sleeves are going to be 100% legal right? I would think they wouldn't ban their own sleeves, but I also could see the argument that they weren't advertised for competitive play.
