A great time. I didn't think I'd ever see 5 rounds in a prerelease again.
I was told there were 94 players total. I think that number includes the theme deck challenge. I think we ented up turning away 4 people for flight 1 and 2 people in flight 2, but we really tried to get everyone in that we could. Excellent showing everyone! When you make an event in Virginia the largest on the east coast, it definitely makes PUI look in our direction (or so I like to think

For your advanced knowledge, we will be trying an online preregistration form for the next event at Hobby Works. This means you will not need to call the store to sign up (atleast 1 PTO reminds me that it is long distance for him to call <_< ). The form does not require an e-mail address or an account to use. However, it does mean that you will need internet access in order to sign up (at home, at a library, or other public location). We believe this will help expedite the registration process and it give us the ability to always know see the registration list's numbers.

@totoro: When I was trying to describe the league operations to you, I was trying to say that your idea is what WotC used in its Battlezone cycle (not Battle Road like I kept trying to say), which followed "Energize Your Game," and what POP did with its Hoenn cycle. The lanyards were used with the Battle Frontier cycle for the league activities.

Yeah, I woke up this morning and feeling had returned to my arms.
Anyway, there is just something about this picture. I was taking the picture, so I didn't see what has caught the attention of 2 of the 3 in the picture that was so shocking.
How was Virginia Beach? Were able to use the last 3 theme decks and do a round robbin?
Lucario ex, do you have Rockville's numbers? The report still hasn't been processed for that event.
EDIT: a stack of cards and card sleeves was left at the energy card table some time after flight 1 ended at Fairfax. Some of the sleeves are from prerelease tournaments of past sets. To claim this, please PM me. You will need to tell me something identifying the stack, such as noteworthy cards or a group of cards, the kind of card sleeves that are in the stack, condition of a particular card(s), etc. I'll hold onto this for a month but will consider it a league donation should an amount of time afterwards transpire without an owner coming forward.

I had so much fun. By the end of it I had collected two Level X's (Dialga G X and Palkia G X which I traded for three Xs and 2 EXs.), two Secret Rares (Scyther and Electabuzz) and all three Shinings. I was amazed that I pulled both a Level X and a Shiny in ONE PACK. Level X and Shiny pack I have witnesses. There are so many new deck possibilities with set, can't wait to see what people come up with for states.
