I do want to voice my opinion on one thing after seeing some people's replies in this thread.
IMHO, POP packs have messed up rarities. I'd say most of the time, you walk away with 2 commons, on a lucky day, an uncommon, and on a blue moon, a rare. Why are the packs set up this way? Wouldn't it be better if each pack guaranteed an uncommon and had a 50/50 chance of either pulling a common or a rare? What kind of downsides would there be if rarities were changed? Decrease in value? How valuable is a Armaldo EX right now? Virtually toliet paper. POP cards aren't worth much at all, and tend to become really worthless after another pop set comes out. Atleast with the new rarity, people would be able to get their hands on the good cards from the pop sets, and not have to throw away every pack they get because it's the same plusle/minum. I do wonder about the whole "pop series" idea. Why was it created? I think one reason it was created was so it could be given to little kids as an reward for doing something in the league or attending a tournament, and they would be happy to get a pack of rare promo cards. But does that really hold up today? Kids still get the packs, but do they seem happy to draw the same phanphy, or surskit? How much happiness does a pack of common paper bring to a child? With a better rarity scheme, the kid could be guaranteed an uncommon or even a rare, which would have much higher chances of making the kid happy than plusle/minum would. So, in conclusion, I feel the rarities for the POP packs are stupid, and I think the POP packs don't live up to any of the standards they were meant to live up to. Nobody is happy when they get a pop pack with 2 commons in it, and most of the time, that is what you get. People are throwing away the cards instead of collecting them because they have 20-something and 30-something of the commons. I think POP pack rarities should be changed.
