We ran our SV04 Prerelease this past weekend and ran into a situation. I couldn't find a quick answer on google so ruled it on the spot. Looking afterwards I think I ruled wrong. Has this been in previous editions and ruled already or is this new? Any help from other judges would be appreciated.
Espathra - Stance: When you play this Pokémon from your hand to evolve 1 of your Pokémon during your turn, you may prevent all damage from and effects of attacks from your opponent's Pokémon done to this Pokémon until the end of your opponent's next turn.
Aegislash - Hard Bashing: This attack's damage isn't affected by any effects on your opponent's Active Pokémon.
Does the ability "Stance" stay in effect and prevent damage or does the attack "Hard Bashing" override the ability?
