Pokemon Decklist Completion Program

Over the past few weeks, I've been developing an interactive web program for helping players fill out decklists for Modified-format premier events. Some of our local players tested it out last weekend at our BR and "loved" it. I'm going to make it available for a while on my wife's business website until I find a place or two to host it and make it available for download to players' local computers. It doesn't need a webserver to run, just a web browser and the program files and images. So, even though it's currently only availble at the URL below, it the future, it might be available for download to run offline, easing anyone's fear that someone online might be "steadling" their deck ideas.

Anyway, you're welcome to check it out at the following location. It's version 1.0, so I plan to make a few more minor changes in the coming days. Enjoy.

Steve, I was one of the folks that tested it, albeit on my own lists, not for any events.

This is one of the simplest programs I have found to make lists. Very impressed with this creation of yours.

Hopefully Dwayne passed that along to you.

PS: I hope you don't mind, but I am advertising this on my site as well. See my sig for the site.

WOW.

This is completely amazing. You must have spent a lot of work in this, and the result is the best Pokémon-related link I've seen in ages. I'll pass this news on to all players I know, this will be great for future events.

Good job! :D

Thanks, this is nice! I wish that I knew about this before league last night as I would have recommended it. I think the moderate performance version will be the most useful because it will be a great help to new players and parents of new players who find the blank list confusing and do not understand the set name and number. But I like that you have offered different versions to meet everyone's needs.

One suggestion that I have if it is easy to add would be to add options for saving the page and possibly editing the saved file. I currently use a Word decklist document for my family and it is so nice to simply print a new sheet without retyping everything or make a simple change to the list.

I think The Gorn has some competition in the decklist creation area! If you don't have a full database, maybe you two should talk about this a little bit. BTW, looks *FANTASTIC*.

OMG.
This is amazing
So I dont have to hurt my eyes on reading those card numbers or even reference Beach for em. Lol

Many thanks!!!

WOW!

This gets my vote as one of the best event decklist builders I've ever seen. The ability to add and remove rows is PERFECT! That's exactly what I needed for decks like Skittles & Chomp that run all different kinds of energy.

Steve, you have done the community a great service. Great job here.....

When new sets are released, will you be updating. Also, if it becomes available for download, how would we get the new sets? RE-Download?

Thanks for your efforts with this.

Jimmy

WOW!! Great work? 2 questions though?
1) Is this legal? Can I actually use the list the program give me for a tourney?
2) What is the "favorite Pokemon" thing for?

-edit-

nevermind #2:rolleyes:

looks great Steve my league kids are gonna love it I caught a minor error on Palkia LV X GE-106 the lv is lower case. Also could you create a spot for deck name?

Steve.

Thank you for showing this to me early.

We are planning to have this available at an upcoming event for kids to see and test (and parents too!)

I have placed it (with your permission) on my website.

Thanks again for this!

Vince

Some questions...

Where are the checkboxes for special and basic energy?

Why do you have stuff for set numbers on trainers and energy? That's no longer on the decklists like it used to be.
