Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Pokemon Movie 10: Dialga VS Palkia VS Darkrai

Don't you mean, "For your benefit?"
Yes, my fingers weren't quite coordinated with one another. This is what happens when the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. (Don't question my typing methods!)

I was teasing about "meant" since I hoped it was a typo. He clearly didn't know "nitwit" though. ;p

region 2 DVD does have some very nice features--opening and ending themes w/out credits, 16:9 anamorphic screen, 5.1 soundmix, character reference drawings, trailers for films (including Detective Conan and Doraemon, yayy!), and a zillion trailers for this movie.

And of course, the stickers :thumb:

Pokemon 10? I'd guess some time in Feb, to coincide with the release of Great Encounters. It's surprising, IMO, that it hasn't been announced yet...

July = "Pikachu--the movie" in Japan just like Dec = Gojira

Or, at least, used to. :frown: (RIP, Gojira)

I saw something on Cartoon Network...I think they gonna air the movie sometime in Feb. didnt catch the date, just woke up when they ran comercial spot during poke in the morning - it's titled: The Rise of Darkrai??

did anybody happen to catch the date?? and time and correct title???

bye...

Yea the english title oddly enough is The Rise of Darkrai which really isn't that appropriate of a title...since the movie focuses more on battle between Palkia and Dialga. I've seen the movie subtitled in Japanese, and i'm hoping the subs were really off. I just didn't enjoy the film nearly as much as the previous installments, and maybe seeing it in English might make me feel different. The tentative release date fo the DVD in the US is March by the way. The airing date on TV for Dialga vs Palkia vs Darkrai on US television is going to be February 24th.

May I ask which parts you hope were off? 'Cause PM's fansubs are usually pretty decent.

I don't know, it's just that while the subs probably conveyed the script well...they just didn't portray the same vibe i've gotten from the last 9 movies. Of course, it doesn't help this is the first time i've watched a Pokemon movie in Japanese, despite having 2-3 others on my external HDD in Japanese.

Pokebeach has posted on his site that the release date for Pokemon: The Rise of Darkrai will be May 27th.

I just finished watching the movie. Pure Awsomeness. I watched it on my import PS2. It was also neat at the end to see some Poke-art drawn by fans, one of them was amazing.

I must say the English Movie comes very close to the Japan version.
I think they did a great job on this movie all, but Darkrai's voice and the way he talks.
Normaly they take good care to the Pokemon that don't have to move there mouth to talk with there voices and lines.
In this case they did kinda good.

I agree it was a really good. It didn't surprise me when they fastforwared the credits. You don't get to see that Dawn gets to the contest and lose to the trainer with Infernape. Now if someone can point me to source for the soundtrack because I loved the music in the movie.

Glad you liked the "real" version KOM! Yeah, lots of stuff in Pokemon movies happens during the end credits, but to Cartoon Network, it's more important to get in the commercials than have the film's runtime handled properly. Guess we'll have to wait until the US DVD release to see if Sarah Brightman's song "I Will Be With You" remains intact. Sure hope so, as it's probably the best end theme to a Pokemon song since "Kaze to Issho Ni" from "Mewtwo's Counterattack" (Pokemon: The First Movie, duh)

You can buy it online by the way (it's on her "Symphony" album).

according to amazon.com, the version on 'symphony' is different, with a different duet partner than the original...
