Seaking SV is a beast! I really really really like how the rule books says that you can change or make up the rules however you like. Leaves a lot of room for players to make the game more serious(with special conditions, extra attack effects, etc) or keep it simple as an intro for new/young players to the TCG. This game is really fun and a nice distraction between rounds at CCs or during Top Cut.

Also, with three or less players it is possible to KO yourself. Hilarious.

Not if you use your Pokemon to attack with. You always skip the attacking Pokemon and blank spaces with the Target roll...Unless you guys changed that rule where you play of course.

you have to attack with any pokemon if the energy is provided tho Wayne. so you might be forced to attack with a different pokemon and KO yourself as honchvire put it.

thepliskin5005 - we just used the level x's as individual pokemon as you don't have a hand in this game. As I said earlier, some cards could be deemed too powerful in this type of game (Blaziken FB X is one the ones we found to be so).....but then again it depends on what other pokemon are in play too....

When adding in effects of attacks from cards outside of rumble, we just apply them like the tcg, IE, poisoned take one before and after their turn, paralyzed means that poke can't attack when that player's turn is up, forcing them to attack with their other poke, burn gets to flip before/after turn, and spread goes to all pokemon on the field.

So far it's a blast

I played it. I like it. It's a good, random party game with just the slightest strategy. I always find that investing in Mew is good. It's got a 2 Colorless energy attack which forces people to use it and it does 60 for 1 Psychic and 2 Colorless. But it's gets one-shotted by a fair number of Pokemon as well.

At my local store, we tried buying a pack of AA and mixing it in with the Rumble cards. We only got Charmeleon but I thought using coin flip attacks would be cool. Also, using a Pokemon with a 1 Colorless energy attack is the same as using a Pokemon with an No-energy cost attack.

The main thing we changed form the Rules was you had to place your tokens first BEFORE the cards were dealt! Makes it way more exciting as everyone is on the same playing field of randomness!!

Blaziken FBX is not really over powered! The x2 Weak to Water and then the +40 if hit next turn balances it!

This game is amazing and most of the Kids (and Adults) said it was the best game they have playedi n a long time due ot it changes every time!!

We are using Uxie and Psychic Restore by allowing the user to switch Uxie with the Card under it! Makes for an interesting play!!

Suggestion if you are playing with the wee ones, find a few cards that have energy-less attacks so they can use it! It is super fun to watch them play!!

Not sure really if this is the right place to post this but i'm going to try anyways. My league just got in it's copy of Pokemon Rumble, but for some reason the guy that owns the store thinks it's a free sample for him. I tried to show them the letter that they sent me about the rumble game, but he was rather insistent that it was a free copy sent by nintendo to get him to sell it in his store. I think he's planning on trying to sell it instead of letting us play it or something. Not sure. Sorry if this was the wrong place to post, but i figured since it was on the topic, why not. Anyway if anyone could help me with this problem or direct me where to go to that would be great.

contact organized play (I assume you're the league leader and have a go-pokemon acct, correct?) and have them contact the store owner - if he sold the copy, then he'll probably have some nasty legal issues to work with.

as for Blaze FB X - we didnt' apply that (whoops?), and considering it was roughly 5 complete rounds before it took any damage (30 turns total, as we had 6 players)....I suppose it comes down to how you decide attacks work.

I won this today in a local tournament.

It's a lot of random fun, pulling Diglet and the Rat however, are not fun lol.

Still trying to find this game. I am starting to believe it is a myth or was just given to leagues or just not in my entire area. I've checked Card shops, Target, Walmart, Meijer in 5 different cities.

Does anyone know where I can find it in Northwest Ohio or anywhere in Ohio???

Amazon has it but shipping is kind of steep, other websites said it doesn't come out till the 15th? (And still don't have it now.)

I haven't seen it anywhere in the Houston area either. I hope TPCI gets it out there soon, as it is WAAYYYYYY after Dec. 8, or it will flop just like the overpriced TFG. That would be a real shame, as it is obvious that most people enjoy it.

It wont flop... but what might happen is that many will just play the game without buying it.

I found it in Michigan at some random Target but the odd thing was when I looked at it with their scanner it said they had NONE in stock! Only the 5 sitting there. There was a Walmart right next to it (Surprised they are like that) and that had none. But I agree, why is this not on shelves for the christmas season?

I also like it because it gives use to those commons you don't normally use.

Arcanine SV was made for Rumble:p I picked mine up for 11$ something CDN. Is that good because everywhere else I see it for 19-20$ CDN.

Did people try to look in the card section at the front (and sometimes in the Toy Section as well) for this game?
I also asked a Target employee if they had it, and he looked it up on his scanner, said there was none. However, when I looked in the card section at the front of the store they had them....(I did not look there at first cause I thought it might be in the normal game section in toys).

IMO the best Pokemon is Mew (in Rumble).

I always check the front section in Target first as the section and selection is much larger. I know they have been sent to the stores and for some reason it is just taking a long time for them to stock them on their shelves.

well I cannot speak solely for either walmart or target, but I can state that some use vendors that come in on certain dates (or days) to stock and/or rearrange the walls.

When I worked at a super target, we only had the vendor out when the wall got a bit cluttered, other wise I got to do the wall....which would get down whenever we had the chance to get me over there (I was a cashier, worked mainly mornings).
