It says in the rules that you can't use a game that has been altered. And having Arceus in your game means that you've cheated. It also mentions that saying "I got my Pokemon in a trade" isn't an excuse.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, won't the movie Shaymin be out by then? I wonder if I'll be able to use it...

I just checked and Shaymin is given out on the 19th but the LA Showdown is on the 12th.:frown:
I could get a Shaymin the same hour it was given out in Japan too. But that wouldn't help in this case.
 
so are they gonna adjust your pokemon, or will you not be able to ude that level 53 snorlax?

nope, read the rules guys, UNION ROOM = LV 50 and below

20/20 for me, ill be prob going to LA if i receive invite

1-491 = no shaymin or Arceus
Although what puzzles me is why some legends are allowed, yet some arent.

Level cap makes Dialga/Palkia/Manaphy/Phione/Deoxys legal

i think this is bad, qualifiers in TWO non central states that you only get to be in out of luck...

2 V 2 is bad IMO

Whats wrong with qualifier at nationals or even a last chance qualifier at worlds like they do for the TCG...

i personaly would never drive/fly that far just to go to a single elim

but theres always the chance next year....
