PokeRadar shinies! Best method ever!

Ok so has anyone been trying to use the Poke Radar to get shinies? If you don't know what I'm talking about, check these videos first before reading:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=dkeKPlBYYbs - Guide to hunting.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=pttv96sFNkY - 2x Shin eevee' caught from the same chain.
http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=shinyhunter - This guy has caught up to 7 shinies from the same chain!

http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/file/925601/48478 - Written guide on how to succesully get high chains.

So what do you think? Pretty cool huh? Well I have been trying to use the PokeRadar alot lately, and it has fetched me these shinies so far since Monday:

1x Shinx (Chaine of 45)
1x Nidoran (F) (Chain of 20)
1x Voltorb (Chain of 41)
2x Bidoof (Chain of 40, 41)
3x Starly (Chain of 40, 41, 42)
1x Larvitar (Chain of 30)

I still have the Larvitar chain and I am currently at 41 rssetting the Radar for a 2nd one.

It is also very recommended to use Synchronize Pokemon like Ralts or Abra's to get better chances o having a good natured usable shiny Pokemon. Uingthistrick I was able to get a Naive Voltorb, Adamant Shix and 1x Jolly Starly. I have an Adamant Synchronize Ralts with me when chaining these Larvitars right now, so hopefully one of the shiny ones I get are Adamant so I can use it in battle :).

Anyone ese trying their luck? The Radar does increase odds I mean, 9 (possibly more if I get more Larvitars) shinies in 5 days is truly outstanding.

I *just* encountered my 2nd shiny Larvitar, on my 61st chain, after having been ressetting for like 40 minutes and bein 100% careful on making my chain high, so tat makes it 10 shinies this week (cause it's already Saturday now.

I have yet to discover any shinies using the radar. My highest chain is 18 Pachirisu. That's the highest I can get. I don't have any idea how to get such high chains.

My highest chain is 28, so I cut it more than half way there. I wonder if differend pokemon require a different chain length to find a shiny version of it. Can't wiat till I find a shiny.

My Larvitar chain is at 85 now, but I have only found 2 shiny Larvitars :8 I expected to have 20 or so by now =P.

MSF45 check the first youtube video I linked too, it's a good guide.

Hmmm I dunno what to do then, I'll search for the written guide for you and send it to you.

My Larvitar chain broke at 105 and I was only able to find 2 shiny ones, I'm just glad BOTH were Adamant.

What Pokemon should I go for next?

A chain is just seeing the same pokemon over and over right? So what you just find one, then sve then pokerader again find another save, so on and so on?

Yes, only you can't run from them and you might as well not save because once you turn the game off the chain ends as well as seeing a different Pokemon.

oh so you have to be lucky and try to run into the same one over and over or does it have to do with the pokemon on the pokerader screen on the bottom screen?

How do you get such high chains? He said you can't turn off since that ruins the chain, and the first video will not load for me are you just extremly lucky in the chains working for you?

I can't figure it out either. I have yet to get a chain higher then 18. That's just my luck. =/

The video won't load for me either.

I caught a shiny Bibarel on a chain of five. That was before I knew about chains, though. Having known about them, I haven't caught any shinies, and my chains have been a lot longer - dumb luck > preparation. =(
