yes i am using a poli deck right now it really depends what your start is i love to get 2 fossils and a poliwag so i stall long enough to power up wag . also warp point is a wonderful thing to have in this deck

Cool, I would consider using Warp energy insted of warp point. But I guess warp point mess's up your opponent to.

I really like the strategy in this deck. I have always built decks like this. When I played Unlimited, I played Gengar (EXP) and Baby pokemon, and later on I built Grumpig and Shedinja. I always though that these kind of decks would have potential, though I never have played one in a Tourny. Hopfully you will, and I can see how it will turn out.

I'm probably going to use it at states. I'm still not sure whether to use this deck or Gengar's Curse.

sort of poli punch has root instaed of claw i like to put the fossil out there long enough to be powered up also i put warp point instead warp energy i understand that it is a energy and warp point but i like it being a trainer card also i have this starnge tradition of putting in warp point in every deck i build.

Ya, I'm thinking about warp point.

I have been working on this deck as well for my 9 year old. Tried with Dark Sandslash and cursed powder too slow and then with a lessor amount of fossils and more trainers - worked okay problem was getting enough fossils.

After reviewing what you have, as of now, he is taking your deck to states with these few changes:
Add 1 multi energy for 1 water
add 1 holon's electrode for 1 Rockects admin
add 2 oaks for 2 copy cat
add 1 poliwrath UF for 1 Giant stump.

Cannot think of what to sacrifice for a Suprise time machine
Would a pokemon retriever help in this deck?

What do you think?

Great, I'm so glad ppl are apreciating my deck.. I don't really think you should take out the Copy's for oaks.. Copy cat are more effective, especailly in 10-, because most in that age group end up w/ way too many cards in there hand

yes, I use this deck and I think this deck is very good and if you have rare candys, in the first turn you can do 40 and run,. Poliwag, rare candy, politoed ex and boost energy.
-1 ciclone energy
+1boost energy.
in my poli-deck I use 4 boost energy.

Ya that does happen sometimes, but remember you are waisting a turn of placing energy if you place boost.

Hey, States is coming up. LMK if your using this deck at states. I'd love to hear that people are using it. Thnx

hi, I use this deck for the citys championchips of march. This is a very good deck, I have 3 months use it and work very fine.

no not really it depends what it has different in it

Wow, so people are actually playing my deck at states! Thats so cool to know. Thnx guys for apreciating my deck so much. LMK how it turns out.

slash---pay attention to my post!

I did.....

you didn't even respond to my suggestions...

Ohh sorry, I've been busy, I don't really want every one to see my final list though..

Ya, I'm not sure what I would take out.

yes that is right ludiclos it is a stalling deck so rot helps you to stall with healing instead of attacking

My friends using the deck, and me and my brother built it for him. It's using a 3-2-3 Pidgeot line, and it works pretty good. I think the deck will have a great surprise factor at States this year, really pushing it forward due to that unexpectedness. Also, the Cyclone is pretty much not needed, so replacing it with another Warp Energy is a very, very good thing! I'll let you know how it goes over after Sunday! :thumb:

slash---great build. you've come a long way with this deck. also, welcome to team ivy :) i look forward to seeing this thing at states.

I'm thinking, how about doing 3 copycat and 3 steven's advice since your only straight draw method is the stevens?

also, definitely run 4 boost. do you really need to worry about wasting an energy attachment when you've got all the time in the world on the bench??

lastly, i'd think about running even 5 counter-stadiums. if you ever get stuck with all your stumps gone and a desert ruins sittin in play, you're gonna have problems. I know alot of anti ex decks like queendom relies heavily on the 4 desert ruins. if you stump first (which i'm guesssing you are because it eats their strategy), that puts you behind a stadium.. What do you think??? the only reason i'd consider something like this is because all of your matches are going to be incredibly long.

also, you're going to have to worry alot about the gengar curse. its gonna hit your bench and atm rock your poor little pidgeots and politoed...

finally: if you punch and run their gengar LM for a fossil does the curse powder hit your politoed or your fossil?? i'm guessing politoed??

P.S you might even consider finding room for warp point if they're building something tough on the bench and you can't afford to discard another fossil.

In 10 and under, this deck with the changes I posted earlier, went 4-1. Only cut to the top 2 and this came in 3rd by the second tie breaker.

The one lost was to a deck with Manectric EX. He lost a poliwag early. Had some damage on Politoed. Time was called. Tied in prize cards. my son had the KO in sight when it came to his turn. Had Politoed on bench with enough fossils. Only one card could help the other kid. The other kid draws a Manentric EX and KOs the Politoed, and it ends in sudden death.

If they would have cut to the top 4 I believe it would have taken the tourney.

Again, it went to the second tied breaker for top 2 cuts! And the 2nd tie breaker was less than about 5%.

We were happy but disappointed at the same time.

I did play an 15+ politoed ex wtih my Medicham EX based deck and crushed it. They got 40 damage to me with punch and run with a boost energy and 10 with a fossil. Took 5 prize cards and then just wiped out their fossils.

Well, if they played boost for punch and run they obviously didn't know how to play the deck. Its not an easy deck to play. Boost is meant to be played to KO with Swallow Up.

They had no energy. And what they got I ER2s it off. Boost was it. Don't know if it was this same exact deck deck since I ate up the politoed and poliwags as they were played and now that I think about it I do not remember seeing a pidgey at all. They never got set up.

As far as an easy deck to play I think it is easy if you have patience.

Manectric EX is the only thing that hits the bench for more than 40 that I can think of. Is there a single Fighting pokemon that could OHKO Manectric EX that could be teched into this deck or would that be a bad idea?

Still 3rd (missing 2nd and the cuts off by the second tie breaker) in 10 & under with one loss is not bad.

As I said before, if they had no energy, and didn't stall w/ fossils then they were either a horrible player, or had a horrible deck build. But congrats to you anyway.

can you fit a Pop 2 celibi EX for a tech to get you back one of your fossils or to recover a boost at the perfect time to win
