POP 9 packs?

I did say it a little backwards, but I was saying that whatever league the POP8 is in POP5 is a few above it. If your saying that P5 is the best set, than I completely agree.

Oh, I agree that POP5 was better than POP8. I'm also saying that POP8 is far superior to any POP set other than 5. :tongue:
 
I could see Porygon-Z Lv. X making into the set as there were two versions of it and we have only got one of them.

This EDIT stinks When BTET comes out we lose so many cards, poor magmortar decks/varients,

I highly doubt that they'll print Xs into the set, that's just unreasonable, pulling an X? Of course i'd pry be the first to pull it

why not? they did it with ex's and *'s. it isn't completely unreasonable if you think about it.
 
I'm pretty sure Rare Candy and Roseanne's Research will get reprinted in POP9, otherwise it would mess up the Modified format unless Broken Time-Space takes Candy's place which I doubt even though they're both really good cards to run.
 
While none of the previous Pop packs, since Pop 6, have had any Lv. Xs or outstanding pokemon, before Pop 8 none of those previous sets also had trainers. So i could see them putting in one maybe two of the Alt artwork like Porygon-Z and Garchomp into the Pop 9 sets.

Also Team Rocket's Persian wasn't playable when it came out so they might do the same thing to rhyperior in that we would have a card that is unplayable

Roseanne's Research and Rare Candy are already going to be legal next year. They were both reprinted in POP8.

i wish they would make it
1 trainer card
1 energy card
2 pokemon cards
per pack. that would be cool
and i don't think they're going to reprint anything they have already printed in a POP pack (amphy line) probably something cool though.

Lots of prevoius POP sets had trainers in them starting with Mr Briney in POP 2, I think about half of the POP sets had trainers in them.

Briney is WAY too good in this format if it was legal. It should stay rotated as if it comes back, games are going to be much longer and more frustration when everyone plays like 4 of them. :nonono:

IN my previous post I was talking about the precedent that has been used for the Diamond and Pearl Pop Packs since Pop 6 where for Pop 6 and Pop 7 we had no trainers and only reprints of cards as opposed to Pop 8 where we had reprints of trainers and new pokemon. I wasn't saying that PUI has never put trainers in Pop packs before Pop 8

If briney comes back, I will play rhyperior with a gardy tech. Use rhyperiors power way too much (2 Briney's a turn + Broken time space is way too much)

There is no way Briney is coming back. Poketurn is just as bad IMHO.
 
i hope they reprint claydol in it lol that would be soooooo cool cuz if they banned great encounters next rotation well loose our best draw card sooo
 
if they did it would be really hard to get out of the pop packs lol
proubly 1 out of each 100 haha
but claydol wont be in it though
guess everyone just has't to wait and see haha

It almost has to be. Has anyone seen any Rhyperior's whatsoever in Bonds of Time or Pulse of the Frontier? If he doesn't get a reprint or a new card or something then we're gonna have one utterly useless Level X come end of the season.
 
wel duh the ryperior in the bonds is a SP pokemon soo that means that they havet to make a Sp ryperior Lv.x
but i think that this pop set might have atleast 2 LevelX's
Ryperior LV.Xand porygon-Z LV.x and then the Rare Porygon-Z and Ryperior and pourbly some other random rare lol
