Power Keepers Details - Now with Pictures!!

Wasn't crawduant already playable with admin??? I don't any other reason metagross and crawduant work together, other then covering 1/2 of meta's weakness and metagross dx helping crawduant attacking. I don't see those 2 reasons giving much of a push for this combo. If there was a way to constantly switch the opponets active, then I could see this working...Mighyena?

Er... if you considered Crawdaunt playable with Admin, why does Crawdaunt suddenly have no synergy with Metagross ex, seeing that there is no current trainer/supporter to disrupt the opponent's hand?

I mean, being able to rattle off three different ways the two can work together in a deck is pretty good, I'd say. Sounds like well above average synergy to me.

I think his point was this:

It wasn't played at all last year, why would it be played now with any more effect?

I BROKE THE FORMAT

OK here we go

Crawdaunt ex, splashback something good like a stage 2 or a stage 1 you're weak to

Metagross ex shuffles the opp's hand back

Then, use warp energy, warp point, switch, or balloon berry to Switch metagross ex for Unown E.

Pull down a basic the opponent doesn't need - something that won't hurt you, or something horrible like a Holon's Castform or Holon's Magnemite.

Repeat until the opponent has four Holon's Castforms in play.

METAGROSS REAPS 4 PRIZES FTW

I'm not at all at the level some of you dudes are at, but, wouldn't it be also a good idea to throw in the mew EX (Holon Phantoms) so you can check your opponent's hand during this process to make sure there are basics or otherwise ensure that shuffling their hand is good, or, find out what they got shuffled, ETC? It seems like a great addition, to me.

Reprinting Blaziken RS without Rayq DR or Blaze ex is the dumbest move ever. This set is an already sullied promise, as if non-delta Pokemon can win anything. Seriously, what decks can you name that aren't delta, other than stage 1s which are fast enough on their own? Yeah wow Blaziken, good thing Dragonite isn't delta, nor does it exist. =\

The point he misses is that this can be used every turn, if desired. With Admins, you can only max out 4 a deck. Unless you are sniffing out, VS Seekering, etc, once used, Admin was gone.

Actually, my deck's non-delta, save for one normal forme deoxys, and most of the time it whoops serious butt. Sure, it hasn't won worlds or cities or anything yet, but, it kicks some butt.

The thing with that is...you can attack with anyone, not forced with metagross. I like metagross' potential, but I think its power is just an added bonus and its attack is where the action is. Also, what would you even bounce up?? Usually, you'll only get to bounce up a support poke (can slow down, but then again, crawduant can do that job just fine) or a benched hitter (but since that same poke will usually be active, you'll be missing out on hitting that poke for 70). It really doesn't seem to be productive.

I'm looking at the big decks (cities wise) right now. MetaNite, Banette/Doom, RaiEggs, and Flygon ex d. In atleast half of those games, you could shuffle into the opponent's deck a stage 2 that would take them quite a bit to bring back out onto the field. In the other two matchups, it's either a basic or a stage 1 and doesn't require as much work to get out.

metanite and flygon use fearow so if you shuffle the gross or flygon they could get them back

What? Metanite, metagross has amazing search by itself, so suffling in one of those isn't that painfull and can easily be recoved. Evoing it will take a while though. The others I completely disagree with seeing any use for this combo. Bandoom isn't even affected by crawduant 9/10 times. RaiEggs is unaffected completely, as stage 1s aren't hard to get up and egg's attack isn't affected. Flygon. Again, nothing but support pokes, and can easily avoid the crawduant yet again. I don't see this combo being great, since it can only be used twice unless the opponet can counter it or is a complete moron.

BUT RAIEGGS WILL GET OWNED BY THE UNOWN E COMBO

I dont think anyone is saying the combo is the end all, be all. It is a nice combo though. In Metanite, depending on who is active (Draggy or Meta), you could splash back whichever is not active, then slam active and at least 1 bench (same poke). Most Meta;s, when cranking, seem to have 2 Meta and 2 Draggys combined out.

Keith

It is a nice combo. There's no reason to tear it to pieces competitively before the cards even come out.

Six words.

Bandoom, ftw. Does it.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

letting there BE an arhtype in teh game

I can name liek less than 6 good decks atm, which is bad. last year at cities there were 15+ viable choices.

1. Bandoom
2. Flygon Ex D
3. Delta
4. Metanite
5. Flariados
6. Sallygross
7. Kingler D
8. Gator/Queen
9. Mewtric
10. Mercury
11. Banette Ex + techs
12. Meganium/Steelix
13. Meganuim/others
14. Flygon Ex D/ Eeveelutions

Then some that I have missed. Some are getting to be quite popular like Kinger D and Gator/Queen.

I think a reason for this is the Rankings. People are hesitant to experiment with new decks. So they play what wins, hence the lack for new decks. I wasn't around his time last year so but I don't think rankings were as big as they are this year.
