Delta decks can already set up quickly with Holon's Castform + Holon Engine. While Dunsparce would help the Delta decks, he would not do so as well as Casteng.

On the other side of the fence, non-d decks kinda lack such a fluid starter as H. Castform. As such, Dunsparce would give those decks quite a bit of help.

On a side note, it's no secret that Delta decks are generally doing a bit better than non-Delta decks simply because of how many cards positively affect them (H. Castform, Full Holon Engine, Delta Rainbow Energy, etc.).

That IS a nice combo. Add in DX Metagross like previously posted and you have energy manipulation! TV Reporters to discard those metals.

They are just trying to make it clear that the damage you don't apply weakness and resistance for is the self damage and not the actual attack damage.
 
dk, i'm thinking some of the cards will be new. for example, the mightyena will have a attack or power/body relating the sydney cards, like the cacturne did. for dusclops, phobes dusclops or something like that. these cards won't all be new. i highly doubt there will be any "team" cards, aka team magma/aqua or rocket cards. it IS possible they will release cards like Siphon but i highly doubt it. If they DO release "team aqua/magma" they probably will be like a grouden ex with something reltating to maxie or something, not actually Team _____'s _____. Walrein will probably relate to Glacia. I expect there to be either stevens related cards (which could mean the return of steven's advice) or of the water guy or something. gym leader type effects might also see play.
again, i don't think we can expect anymore reprints than maybe 20-30 MAX, and i still think that's an abnormally high number.

You would be smart to splash back a Poke that ISNT the same as the active, keeping the same one(s) in play silly! :thumb: The Craw player gets to choose which Poke to splash back (if their bench has 4 or more Pokes), not the defending player!

You get to choose which poke you send back with crawdaunt. You just pick one that won't take the extra 70. Readingthecards FTW.

Crawdaunt ex, splashback something good like a stage 2 or a stage 1 you're weak to

Metagross ex shuffles the opp's hand back

Then, use warp energy, warp point, switch, or balloon berry to Switch metagross ex for Unown E.

Pull down a basic the opponent doesn't need - something that won't hurt you, or something horrible like a Holon's Castform or Holon's Magnemite.

Repeat until the opponent has four Holon's Castforms in play.

BTW, reprinting SS Dunsparce would result in Turbo Dunsparce being legal again, and PUI can't let that happen.

So, no SS Dunsparce in the set most likely.
 
letting there BE an arhtype in teh game

I can name liek less than 6 good decks atm, which is bad. last year at cities there were 15+ viable choices.
