He wants to really rip someone off, huh? I should try to get his personal information and destroy him! INTERNET STYLE!
 
The guy had "sold" the card to me for $5000 but I refused to bid until he posted a picture. In 10+ messages he promised to send the "documentation" and pictures but every time it got the point where that was suppose to happen he was either at work or something else. He tried every excuse to get me to bid before he posted the pictures. Apparently he had a friend who put in a bid right at $5000(a shill bid) and he wanted me to bid $5000 then he would end the listing. This was because he could not list a Buy Now for more than $1000 due to account restrictions. Basically another complete waste of time but I was trying to give the guy every chance.

I hope there were not other collectors who done the same, but actually got suckered

Rusty, Eddie went though the same thing you did. I told him the biggest red flag was he waited to get 50 feedback to pull the scam. At 50 feedback you can start withdrawing or downloading money out of Paypal. At 49 or less feed back I believe the money is frozen for a certain amount of time.

50 feedback has nothing to do with how much you withdraw from Paypal. I sold something on ebay and was able to withdraw money straight away and I only had 3 feedbacks at the time.

I first started selling at 180 feedbacks, and did not get money right away after the item sold. The only way you can have the money right away is having a good sales record. There's 3 ways Paypal will release your funds.

1) After 21 days
2) 3 days after confirmed delivery
3) You have a good sales record.. I think it was selling 80+ transaction without getting a dispute.

What if you just go through PayPal? Isn't it instant? It was for me for :/
 
I know that ebay and amazon rules have changed the past year or so.cause I first started sellin stuff on ebay at around 30-40 feedback just by buying things and the money was avaliable right there and then.now i know for new sellers they have to wait up to 21 days for paypal to release the funds to them.amazon was the same thing when you sold something you were able to put the money straight into your bank account but now you have to wait 2 weeks after you sold the item to get the money

Oh yeah I saw that scammer selling trying to sell that set for $3000 and good luck to that person trying to file charges with the Australian Federal Police. I live in Australia and I got scammed $1200 for some 1st Edition Base Set Charizard on Ebay because I paid by Bank Deposit. Police have his name and Address yet won't do anything.
 
If anyone can actually help just send me a private message and ill tell you who got ripped. If you can't actually help then don't ask for his name!
