regigigas- how to bring it down

Are we talking about how to get rid of Gigas now, or after Platinum has been released?

If its now then just build a good T-tar deck. It seriously beats Gigas most of the time if you play it right. The trick is surviving past the initial blast, if you do, you usually win.

Something that hits it for 80/90 and a Mesprit drop. At least that's going to be my strategy for States. With Promo Dusknoir and Cresselia LV.X or Ectoplasm, then Mesprit drop so they can't heal. Vs. Dusknoir they usually try to keep a small bench and G as much as possible. So you can catch them off guard. I just wish I would have thought of this before CCs were over:(.

T-1 Mesprit + An early Machamp is an easy way to counter Gigas. No way to protect Gigas or Uxie. No sacrifice.

Once you're already behind in prizes, Sacrficing is risky business.

The thing is, who gets the first Mesprit? Gigas or Machamp? Machamp even doesnt play mesprit (T1 St2 and basik on bench? Then T2 an other Basik on bench.... It's not going to work, Good Gigas haves Change against Machamp, Power Block + T2 Uxie with Unown G... I've seen many games where Gigas have been power blocking for whole game (They play 4 Mesprits and 4 SSUs)

The Question was "regigigas, how to bring it down". I was giving a suggestion, not suggesting that most Machamp decks use Mesprit. Getting a T-1 stage 2 and a basic on the bench is far from unrealistic.

If Gigas gets the first Mesprit, he's got a better chance, but he's still in a tight spot.

Mewtwo Lv.X works. You don't need to use Giga Burn to bring Gigas down, though. No matter what deck you're running, the LA Mewtwo works perfectly because its attack costs are easily covered by Multi. As long as it levels up, Gigas can't touch it. Hypnoblast can be easily used to stop Gigas's Sacrifice (assuming it doesn't wake up or switch), while Psychic can 2HKO a fully charged Gigas. I'm not sure how viable this may be as a tech, but it seems like an easy way to counter AMU and Gigas since their heavy hitters are all Basics. Unless they wanna attack with Claydol, lol.

Machamp is the only deck that has a Good match-up against Regi. Anything else you can just Reconstuctre away, but Machamp just beats you. It's like a 20-80. If anyone can actually inform me on how to win this Match-up, I would love you. But I doubt it's even possible.

Lock them and then just attack wiht uxie lv.X with unown G on it, Ive seen my friend do it in a CC 3 times.

I can't believe no one has suggested Groudon yet, but I will say that Mewtwo is perfect for the matchup too.

Why don't you like Weavile??? :/

sounds like fighting types are a good play for gigas..... hmmmmmmmm okay, i will test. and about b4- i feel wevile is a space that can be better filled. i would rather play leafion and a multi and double attach from the bench and have a side attacker ready.

Doesn't Weavile sound a lot easier though?

Rampardos will be good, but how much can it swarm? It has a hard time to get fossils out fast enough, so Gigas can be just too fast agianst it... Uxie will be the key part of mach, 60 for 2 energys and hope that it wont get OHKOd (Snowpoint Temple).

Relicanth and Fossil Excavator take care of that. Fossil Excavator is amazing.
