Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Richmond VA Regional Championship - Quinton, VA 4/17/2010

lol I find it pretty funny that you think I care about you enough to put the time and effort into creating separate accounts to flame you. Im sorry you have multiple people with animosity towards you, but its not me. Its a little childish and immature to go around accusing someone for something they didn't do man.

And as Kibble N Bits said, its a direct quote from Johnny Rabus himself. You told him that there were changes he should have made in his deck, Huge changes I might add.

What Keith said is perfect! Great venue and a VERY well run event!! Thanks to Jeff, my boy Keith and the rest of the staff for your efforts Saturday. Take a bow ladies and gentleman- the event was very smooth and a lot of fun for Stevie and I.Thanks :)

We also enjoyed seeing the Nance brothers ( as always! and congrats. to Kevin for a solid showing!)The rest of the Va. crowd ( Chris, Ben, etc) were very cool guys as well. And props to the Tenn. crowd that showed up and had solid showings- good for you guys. Especially Alex H., who started 0-2 and instead of dropping ran the tables and made top cut. I'm very proud of you for that kid, it shows heart ( which you obv. got from your dad! ).

My only slops are that Pram and Luke went north to Pa. and we didn't get to see you guys :(

See all of you @ Nats.

John

Thx John! That made Alex's day. Cannot wait to see you all again. Nats cannot come soon enough! Indy better lock up their Bailey's!!!

Keith

You can have up to 6 in one deck, as long as your card sleeves are completely opaque, and you have either an English copy of the card outside of your deck, or a printout from the Card-Dex.

wait, you can do this still?!?!?!? NO WAI!

can i see an official ruling link for this?!!!!!

So, Johnny (or Jimmy P, for that matter...)

Where are the reports???? Love to hear what you champs have to say!!!

Johnny Rabus is best player in VA? you decide

hes got my vote

ehh... I think that Mike has the edge on him just because he does stupidly well with amazing consistency. Johny is really good, but isn't nearly as lucky as Mike. ;)

Great job Johny! Way to make up for my epic fail in PA.

^Erm, what about Arron?! First year master, 1 states win (18-1 over 2 weeks), 2 city wins, 2 or 3 BR wins, and doesn't even need to play for the rest of the season?

Although I agree that Arron is a stupendous player and I look forward to see how he does in the up coming Master seasons, Johnny has done consistently well in the Masters over the years. Id like to give Arron another year or so to see how well he adapts to the Masters. Patrick Tuskey had a similar burst in his first year in 11-14 and now does consistently well.

As for Mike, yea he is definitely one of the best players in the region. I hate to declare one player "the best" and would rather define a group of players as consistently good, and Mike is definitely in that group along with players such as Luke, Arron and Johnny (VA wise)

Sorry for the late addition, but we just finally got internet back after our neighbor's landscapers cut our line. We finally have internet again!

Anyway, just wanted to post a quick thanks to Jeff and Toni for me inviting to be part of the staff. Being a part of this regionals team is definitely something I look forward too!

Thanks too to the other Masters judges, Nick, Rex, and especially Keith (Lawman). I always learn something from Keith, and this year was no exception.

Thanks to the Judges in the other divisions as well, especially David and William it is always great to see you and hoping to see both of you again soon at pre-releases.

It was cool to have the reigning Masters World Champ in the house. It was also cool to watch his father make a top cut run. Good job John and cool deck! Thanks for letting me take a look at it!

Props to the Jimmy P and Jimmy M for another 1-2 punch in Seniors from the Fairfax league. Time to see if you guys can have a 1-2 rematch at Nats!:thumb:

Props to Kevin Nance for another great regionals run and second in Masters. Good to see you again Kevin!

And definitely huge props to So VAs own Johnny R for the big win in Masters! Way to go Johnny!:thumb::thumb::thumb:

Johnny, you know you put the pressure on me now. Now if I want the privilege of losing to you at Nats, I will have to win my first two games! That's what I get for dodging you at States.
Seriously though, great job and deck!:thumb:

Hope to see VA people soon, and everyone else at Nats,

Jav
