Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Rockford, IL Deoxys Prerelease 2/6/2005

most of the time in prerealeases if you get a good pull in value level you do really bad but if you get a bad pull in value level you usauly do really good. And lets just say that i didnt pull anything worth anything and i didnt pull anything that would be decent in a draft. It was an all around bad tourny for me.
And lets end this thread with that so i never have to remember that horrible day

I think you should write up a detailed tourney report on all your matches.

I'm sure a lot of people would have some enjoyment reading it--not everyday dave III is in dead last after 5 rounds. Or am I not supposed to tell anyone that?

I was looking forward to having my first ever match against you. We both started 0-1 but then I ran to 4-1 before losing to rulemaster. Since I'm "good, but not 'that' good" I thought I'd have to keep up with you in wins, not losses.

Sorry--but it's not everyday someone can talk smack about you--have to do it while I have the chance. I went 1-4 at the side event in Brookfield for 2on2--so you can wail on me about that if you want.

Hey i can take it witht he best of them. But just remember i can dish it out twice as well so watch out Jeff you better not ever finish under .500 in a tourny or i garuntee u will never live it down. ANd you have my word on it. LOL

Under .500 in a premiere event you mean? Cuz I just told you I went 1-4 in the 2on2 side event in Brookfield. Out of 20 I was tied for 16th. Resistance put me in a tie for 19th. And I guess my stupid last name of 'W' put me in last. I got a pack of R/S though as the loser's prize WOOT!

w00t be right! Go Jeff!

Isn;t it ironic that Jeff worked on his deck like all night and took last, and the top 2 people, Cory and Kyle, played their normal Modified decks, and I played.... my 5 Minute Miracle deck to get 3rd place. Sorry Jeff, but I have the right to dish a lot out now after I got pwned by EVERYONE talking about me before the tourney and my 'date'. lol.

Jeff, you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you when Derrick needs to smack talk you.

The deck I ended up using I didn't test with the night before. I played one game with it against Eric earlier in the week.

Don't worry--next time theres a 2on2 modified I'll do much better. The main problem with my deck was speed. The opponent typically gets the first couple prizes and by the time I get set up and control of the match, time is called and I'm still down a prize or 2. I forgot to put the time limit into consideration when I built the deck. Oh well, I'll everyone down next time!
