Hey cool youre gonna be there. I think you were at Illinois States but I dont remember you. I for one agree with posting information about the other prereleases at the spot where they should be.

Actually it is relevent since we are discussing what the best options are for people who live within driving distances of these 3 different prereleases, which should be pretty much everyone who posts here.

Exactly, which makes this especially important to compare what is offered at what events. An important choice which could get you more or less emerald packs.
 
Hey, I'll speak from a PTO perspective here....if I am advertising an event, and you want to advertise, or frankly discuss prizes from a competing event on my thread, not cool.

There are other threads dedicated to the other events, and, if you want (it is a free board), start a thread with a prize comparison for the "competing" events.

Don't cannibalize this thread for Rockford with details about other events....

Frankly, if I was the Rockford PTO, I would abandon this thread and start a new one....and if it happened again...

Thanks M45. I agree. If people wanted to compare places to go and prizes available, all they would need to do would be look on the threads for the events within their area and look for themselves. Rockford posts should be on this thread, Brookfield posts should be on their thread, and Niles on their own. It's unfortunate that some are on the same day, but that's how it is sometimes. But as far as posting on the "competition's" thread, well, I don't really think it's necessary. That's why we each have a thread for our own events. It's just a matter of respect I think.
 
I believe so. Also Poliwag92, or anyone else who's planning on coming, if you want to PM me with your info I can get you and your friends preregistered. Once people are registered and paid, they can go for lunch before the event. There are lots of fast food places within walking distance. If anyone who hasn't been there before needs directions, it's pretty easy to find. It's 2 blocks South of E.Riverside on N. 2nd St(hwy 251). On corner of Clifford and N. 2nd. (Across from the mini mall with Big Lots)

Also we have a Modified Side Event scheduled after the main event for $5.
The Side event has the following prizes:
1st - 4 Pks FRLG/4 packs TRR
2nd- 3 Pks FRLG/3 packs TRR
3rd -2Pks FRLG/2 packs TRR
4th- 1Pks FRLG/1 packs TRR
and we'll add Emerald depending on how many we go thru at the main event.

Rob also got 12 additional packs for bringing in 3 new people, so I'd say his family did pretty good! :thumb:

Think it was a good event. Hope everyone had a good time. We had fewer numbers than usual (33) with Brookfield's on the same day, but we appreciate those of you who came and hope you'll come back for future events.

1st for our side event was David H. He got an additional 10 packs of Emerald, 8 HL and 8 TRR.
