Great! Hope to see your sisters there too! It will be a fun time, and probably more relaxed since we'll be right at the store like we all usually are on Saturdays. I'm hoping we have a great turnout! Don't forget to Preregister if you're planning on coming if you want the free pack because my Prereg Promotion ends on Thursday the 20th.
 
A week and a half to go... are any of you out of towners that are not going to MS Valley Regionals planning to come to Rockford? I'm still trying to get an idea of how many will be coming. If so, don't forget to post or PM me if you want the free pack for Preregistering. That deal will end on Thursday the 20th. And if so, don't forget it's right at the store, not down the street. I will run a Theme Deck Challenge if we have enough interest, and the same for a Modified Side Event (with prizes) after the main event.

Sure! And hey sorry if you can't get to Vince's Regionals, but glad to have you at our Prerelease! You've been to the Women's Club for our other events... well our store Tomorrow Is Yesterday is really easy to get to from there... it is just about 4 blocks or so to the South of the Women's Club, on the same side of the street. It's right on the corner of 251 and Grand I believe it is. I posted a Mapquest link on the first post.
 
If you're coming from the East on Riverside (and used to go right to get to the Women's Club before) yes you now go left onto 251 (N 2nd St) for only about 4 blocks down, on the right side of the street, on the corner. There is a Stoplight there on that corner. You can't miss it. :)
 
maybe i can gather some money for that since i want to go to Niles as well to trade for stuff i need.

Since its a saturday i should be able to do it though.

Yessir! You are already on the list! Tonight is the last chance to get in on the free pack for Preregistration if anyone else here plans to come. I'm baking some awesome cookies for Sat too. :thumb: The Celios were going to come, but now they're back to going to Vince's Regionals again. That thing's gonna be huge! Well, if anyone in the area isn't going to MS Valley Regionals, they're sure welcome to come to TIY!
 
Well we'll be coming tommorow, but my dad is getting mad because of the gas prices...

But i still should be able to make it.

Camille, when do you expect the swiss to end at and the modified to begin?

Depending on how many players we have, (which I don't think to be too many, probably 26 or 28) I'm guessing the main event will be done around 3 or so and the Modified to begin shortly thereafter.
 
Well I've gotten back!

I got 2nd in 11-14 only losing by 4% tiebreak to fellow TIY Nathan S.

Dustin and Justin were 1st and 2nd in 15+

Jeremiah won 10-
 
Glad you were able to make it! And even tho it was more crowded in the gameroom than our usual place down the street for the Prereleases, I think all went well. We ended up with 34 players, even tho about 18 players who usually come to our events were at MS Valley Regionals, so I'd say that's pretty good. We had about 6 new players too :)

Was a nice event, I think everyone had a good time! I thank all of you who came!
