nope i was to busy collecting washingtonian scalps, lol. i got 3rd, washington player got fourth and Jason and Andrew j were in top 2 (didnt get to see their match though.)

oh and two they got the seniors and juniors:nonono: but masters were all good.

top 4 for sr. divi was oliver (gyrados?) in 3rd and jonathan (gengar/luxray) in 4th, steven (sablock) and some chick (started with an A, oh and from what im told luxchomp.) were top 2 when i left.

ugh.....was the ONLY gyarados deck doing good until rnd 5 (was 4-0 at that point) when my deck just ***'d on itself and gave me HORRIBLE starts and draws.
 
terrabad luck dropped my out of top 32 (maybe, I had kinda bad match breaker)

got 7th in ds though, WOO PIKACHU PIN!! <3

Many thanks to professor staff for another great tournament. I managed to overcome some awful misplays and take the senior DS crown. Tiny lad held his own and took 14th and 2nd in the junior cards and DS tourney respectively. He was so pleased with himself. When your child is happy, the world just seems right.

Congrats to Ryan and Jaron for making top cuts, to Ian for winning Juniors, and special thanks to Trevor W. for the extra BTS... I'd bet you have a pair of red pajamas with an 'S' emblazoned across the chest.
 
Thanks for a great day! Love my pokemon friends. Would have top cutted except for want of a Hopip. Almost 50 and thinking about Hopips all night :(
 
Fanatastic time at Regionals (as allways)

I am prettys sure we set a record this year our Gym sent donw 4 Junior players, 1 senior and 12 masters players. So yes I am almost positive thatt 17 players from our gym is a record attendance for Regionals.

One of our Junior players took 1st over all and 2 others got prizes for finishing in the top 16 durring swiss. And we had 3 masters players make the top cut and one moved onto the top 16.

On a personal note I had a balst. Going 4-0 to start until lossing my last 3 games in about 12 turns only taking one prize combined. Ending with a 2 turn loss with an Azelf only start. Still had a great time.
My wife aslo went 4-3 loosing one game to one of our fellow Gym members and loosing annother in a surprise loss due to a devoluter play. And our daughter went 2-4.

After going a combined 0-4 in the States Video Game tournements I finally won a few and finished 2-3. One of our Masters players won the Video Game Senior Championship and his son took 2nd in the Juniors competiton. All in all a very sucessfull day for Phoenix Games Gym.

The team competiton was another huge success and we all had a great time. We had 5 Junior teams, 6 senior and 16 Master teams enter this year/ In the Team competiton our Junior team took 3rd place with our best player on an all but him Oregon team that won the team title and Our two Masters teams took 9th and 11th place.

Also it was very nice of everyone there sing and wish my wife a Happy Birthday.
