Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Secret Deck #2

5 ppl PLayed the Raicu Eggs version and there records were in swis 9-0 8-1 6-3 5-4 and 2-2 HE left for rds 5/6 so game losses were issued befroe he dropped.

I was thinking that comparison too. ;p:wink: Of course, you know who that makes Martin.

oh NOO!

I believe the 5 were..Martin, Kyle, Bianchi, Celio, and AJ?? Yeah, and there was a bunch playing Rai/Wak as well, which I still think is superior to Eggs BUT I could be wrong.

Moss: Jason worked it out. ~.002% chance of that happening. I like those odds!

Yeah, 5 people played the deck. Me, Martin, AJ, Bianchi, and Eric.

PS: I don't see how Marowak could be superior when MORE people were playing it, none made the cut, and Eggs took 1st and 2nd. :p

Pooka's Right, MaroRai is really bad, I Just tested 3 games against LBS. Marowak only won 1 time.
I also tested 3 games with Eggs. Eggs won all 3 :p Coincedence I think not.

I went 6-3 w/ Riachu/Marowak. I had only played 4 games with the deck ever before the tourney (just didn't have the time or players to practice with) so game 2 of the tourney was only the 5th game I had ever played with it.

Rnd. 1 - vs. No show  1-0

Rnd. 2 - vs. BLS (Yes this deck can beat BLS often) 2-0

Rnd. 3 - vs. Queen (difficult matchup) 2-1

Rnd 4 - vs. LunuRock (this deck usually wins this but he had 3 heads flips on ER2 and 1 very important heads flip on Reversal, I had only 1 prize left to take) 2-2

Rnd. 5 - vs. Eggs version 3-2

Rnd. 6 - vs. MewLock (auto win for this deck) 4-2

Rnd. 7 - vs. MewTric (auto win for this deck) 5-2

Rnd. 8 - vs. MetaNite (2 Pikachu prized and started with Pikachu and had to sacrifice it, and two Root prized + multiple heads flips on Agility w/ metal on benched dragons) 5-3

Rnd. 9 - vs. Flaridos (very tough match up) 6-3

I played (and was one of the leaders in the serious testing of) Raichu d/Marowak d, and also went 6-3:

R1- LBS: 1-0
R2- Scizor (bad matchup even if it's JUST scizor/pidgeot, oops): 1-1
R3- Mewtric (can't ever hit evo, transceiever, or researcher): 1-2
R4- Team Oklahoma's Monarchy (=/): 2-2
R5- Metro: 3-2
R6- Dragtrode: 4-2
R7- Ludi: 5-2
R8- Dragtrode: 6-2
R9- Raichu/Eggs: 6-3

Despite its nationals WIN and 2nd place, in testing of both decks, I just don't know. It IS more aggro, but the thing that knocked me out of the cut (gonna go into detail more later) was Raichu/Eggs being superior to Raichu/Marowak in the pseudo-mirror. While Raichu/Marowak didn't top cut, I can't really think of anyone that bombed with it, either. At least four or five of the ten playing it went 6-3 for the day.
