Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Shadow Pokemon contest

liminy, you may want to reread the rules, your second attack can't be used.

Also, I think we're gonna keep it that it stays Hyper on the Bench too, but it can only be removed from hypermode with the Call command when it's active.

Well think about it lunarock, the Shadow Rules already give a Shadow Pokemon a Poke-Power AND a Poke-Body. There isn't a card in existance that has 2 of them at the same time. I know the logic is "why not make it 3?" but we've decided to cut the other Pokemon Powers and take it one step at a time. Besides, aren't the rules complicated enough as it is?

Shadow Misdreavus {P} Basic 90 HP

Poké-Power - Hypermode This Pokémon can only use Shadow Rush. Instead of flipping 3 coins, flip 4. If there are 3 or 4 heads, Shadow Rush does 50 damage and 20 damage to itself. All other flip results are the same as the effects of the original attack. To deactivate this Poké-Power, the player must use the Call command and skip the attack that turn when this Pokemon is Active.

Poké-Body - Purification Process Starting the turn this Pokémon is played on the field, all attacks other than Shadow Rush are locked until the specified number of turns an attack has on it has passed.

{P}{C}Shadow Rush Special: Flip 3 coins. If there are 0 heads, this attack does nothing. If exactly one is heads, this attack does 20 damage and 10 damage to itself. If exactly 2 are heads, this attack does 50 damage and 20 damage to itself. If all 3 are heads, this attack does no damage this turn and this Pokemon activates the Poke-Power: Hypermode. ??

{P}{C}Poltergeist Flip a coin if Heads place 2 Damage counters on all of your opponents active Pokémon. If Tails place 1 Damage counter on 2 of your opponents benched Pokémon (if there are less than 2 benched Pokémon, place 1 damage counter on 1 Pokémon, if there are no benched Pokémon, ignore this effect)
2nd Turn

{P}{P}{C}Fade Out Return Shadow Misdreavus and all cards attached to it to your hand, once you do place damage counters on your opponents active Pokémon until it has 20 HP left. No Pokémon with Shadow in its name may attack till the end of your next turn. (Benching does not end this effect.)
4th Turn

{P}{C}{C}Fade In Search you deck for a Pokémon with Shadow in it’s name and place it on your bench. No Pokémon with Shadow in its name may attack till the end of your next turn (benching does not end this effect.) 40

This Pokémon is both {P}{M} type.

{P} {C} Double-Edge 30 (2 turns)

Metagross does 10 damage to itself.

{M}{P}{C}{C}{C} Meteor Mash 70 (6 turns)

Flip a coin. If heads, during your next turn, any damage done to the defending Pokémon is increased by 10 (after applying Weakness and Resistance). You cannot add more than 30 damage in this way.

Weakness: {R}{F}
Resistance: {G}{P}
Retreat Cost: {C}{C}{C}{C}

Okay, I will change the second attack, but I still think it is a cool attack other than bending the rules. I think it is okay to use an attack other than Shadow Rush in Hypermode if there is drawback.
Is it okay then to evolve a Shadow Pokemon who is in Hypermode after all the attacks were unlocked? If so, then the Hypermode condition will be removed, right?

Shadow Xatu (P)
80HP
Stage 1 (Evolves from Natu)
Shadow Psy (P) (turn 1)
Flip a coin until you get tails, for each head, put one damage count on the defending Pokemon. If the first flip is tails, Shadow Xatu activates its Poke-Power: Hypermode.

Evil Psy (P)(P)(C) (turn 3) 40+
Flip a coin, if heads, You may use this attack instead of Shadow Rush if and only if Shadow Xatu is in Hypermode. Put one damage count on Shadow Xatu. If the defending Pokemon is a Shadow Pokemon, it is now in Hypermode. If the defending Pokemon is not a Shadow Pokemon, this attack does 40 damage plus 20 more damage and put one damage counts on Shadow Xatu. If tails, this attack does nothing (not even damage).

Shining Psy (P)(P)(C) (turn 3) 40
This attack can only be used if Shadow Xatu is not in Hypermode. If the defending Pokemon is a Shadown Pokemon, it cannot activate its Poke-Power until the end of your next turn. (this effect will not be removed even if the defending Pokemon is benched) If the defending Pokemon is not a Shadow Pokemon, you may remove up to 2 damage counts from Shadow Xatu.

Weakness: (P)
Resistance: None
Retreat Cost: (C)

much better liminy, and to answer ur question, no, they cannot evolve until they are purified. Purified means 2 things have to happen. 1. All of the attacks must be unlocked. 2. The Pokemon cannot be in hypermode.

80 HP

If you discarded an energy search your deck for a pokemon and put it in your hand. If you discarded a pokemon search your deck for a trainer and put it in your hand.

Ambush: (2 turns) (Fire)(C) 10 damage, if the defending pokemon is sent to the bench for any reason during your opponents next turn flip a coin. If heads the new defending pokemon is now burned. If tails the new defending pokemon takes 20 damage

Illuminating Flame (5 turns) (Fire)(Fire)(L)(C) 70 damage, discard a fire energy attached to Shadow Arcanine.

PMaster and I will get back to you on the closing date in a bit blizzard. Judging by the responses we've been having I think we'll be keeping it open for a while still.

Technically you weren't supposed to put the Shadow Rules on the card itself, but I'm not gonna take off points for it. Besides, it gives a reminder of what some of the Shadow Rules are because this is the second page of this post.

:psychic: Shadow Jirachi

Any Shadow Pokemon that attacks Shadow Jirachi the turn that this is used is automaticly confused.
(S) (S) (C) Doom Desire 5 Turns
Flip 4 coins if 1 is heads Jirachi takes 30 damage at the end of your opponents next turn. If 2 are heads the defending Pokemon takes 20 damage and is then confused or asleep player that controls Jirachi has choice.
If 3 are heads the defending Pokemon's HP is lowered until it has 10 Hit Points left. If all 4 are heads do 30 damage to all of your opponents Pokemon (Don't apply weakness and resistance to bench Pokemon)

I have a good idea for this contest. How about a Chao from the Sonic Adventure series, like in Carrington388's sets.

Shadow Chao
Pokémon card
{C}
50 HP
Basic Pokémon
Weakness: n/a
Resistance: n/a
Retreat cost: {C}
(Hypermode Poké-Power)
(Purification Process Poké-Body)
(Shadow Rush)
{C} Shadow Switch Switch Shadow Chao with 1 of your Benched Shadow Pokémon. During your next turn, ignore that Pokémon’s Hypermode Poké-Power.
(Pic: A normal Chao, but with a black aura, like a Shadow Pokémon has.)
(Flavor Text: When it was thought that Cipher was only creating Shadow Pokémon, not many people knew that the syndicate also closed the doors to the hearts of several Chao as well, thus creating Shadow Chao.)

Note: For this particular Chao, it's Shadow as in Shadow Pokémon, not Shadow as in Shadow the Hedgehog. also, once purified, Shadow Chao can evolve into any Pokémon with Chao in its name.

Before you read on, guess who my Shadow Pokemon is.

Yep, Victreebel!!

Shadow Victreebel
90 HP {G}

Stage 2 Pokémon (evolves from Weepinbell)

{G} Sleep Sprout (1 turn)
If the Defending Pokemon is a Shadow Pokemon, flip a coin. If heads, activate that Pokemon's Hyper Mode Poke-BODY. If the Defending Pokemon is not a Shadow Pokemon, flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokemon is Asleep as long as Shadow Victreebel is your Active Pokemon and does not attack.

{G}{G}{C} Acid Cloud (3 turns)
This attack does 30 damage minus 10 damage for every Neutralization Counter on Shadow Victreebel to each of your opponent's Pokemon (don't apply Weakness and Resistance). Place a Neutralization Counter on Shadow Victreebel.

{G}{G}{G}{C} DEVOUR! (5 turns)
You may choose a Pokemon in play (you cannot choose any of your opponent's Pokemon if he or she has 3 or less Pokemon in play). Discard all cards attached to that Pokemon, then attach it to Shadow Victreebel. Treat Shadow Victreebel as that Pokemon instead. It can't evolve, devolve or use the Poke-POWER or Poke-BODY of that card. When this Pokemon leaves play, return any cards attached this way back to their owner's hand.

Weakness: {R}
Resistance:
Retreat Cost: {C}{C}{C}

Did I do everything right?

Okay, my avatar is finally pleased.
Shadow Porygon {C}{D} Basic 90 HP

resistance: psychic
retreat: {c}{c}{c}
This Pokémon is both {C}{D} type.

{c} - Infect (2 turns) - Place a Virus counter on the Defending Pokémon. A Pokémon can have up to 3 Virus counters on it. At any time, if there are no Shadow Porygon in play, remove all Virus counters in play. Switch the Defending Pokémon with one of your opponent's Benched Pokémon.

{c}{c} - Quality over Quantity (2 turns) - 30 - Discard 1 card from your hand or this attack does nothing (not even damage). Search to your deck for 2 cards and put them into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterwards.

{c}{c}{c} - Fury Wave (4 turns) - At the beginning of your next turn, you may either put 2 damage counters on all Pokémon for each Virus counter on them or discard the top card of your opponent's deck for each Virus counter on your opponent's Pokémon.
