Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

small but strong team?!

sorry; japan - backwards time.
Anyay,
salamence and you

Salamence is a dragon/flying hybrid with high speed and attack stats. He is good as a heavy hitter or a speed demon.
His best attacks focus around mid-range dragon damaging attacks and physical boosters.
Some must haves for salamence:
Bulk up, eartthquake, dragonclaw, crunch, and in some cases, fly.

Canadian Bacon: Replace dragon breath with bulk up, because all of your other attacks are physical, and ittl boost the STAB you get from dragon claw.
Wailord has LOTS of health, heres a move list for yeh:
Rest (pissoff time!), Body slam, Water pulse, calm mind (comes in a TM)
Roselia is nice, but cut cut (pun not intended.), and put in toxic. I believe roselia is a grass/poison.
Blaziken is a nice dual-type, but: Take out quick attack and replace with it bulk up. All of your moves are physical except for blaze kick and you'll get quite a bonus from it.
Slaking is a bad pokemon. I don't know why you like him so much, but i'd replace him with a gardevoir featuring:
Calm mind, psychic, thunderbolt, secretpower

Sea crobat:: dragon claw comes in a tm flavour too.
My mistake, didn't realise he came that low. :)

Fawkes0126: yes, ralts is awesome.

Really? well my team is perfect (in my mind). I just beat the last gym leader and caught a Bagon. I only ran into level 25's, 30's, and 35's. I never ran into anything else. Here my team is now:

Bagon/35/Headbutt, focus energy, ember, dragonbreath.
ok, ill wait until he reaches 35 to evolve, after all, i waited from level 36 to level 43 to evolve Vigoroth so he could learn Focus Punch. In the end he will know- Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Fly, Flamethrower/Crunch. I never was really fond of non-physical or elemental attacks, unless it put the foe to sleep, poisoned, or paralyzed it. I just like attacks that cause pain by themselves.

Blaziken/40/double kick, strength, aerial ace, blaze kick.
I like her moveset. Ill keep double kick until he learns sky uppercut. then ill get rid of strength for slash. then ill keep that moveset.

Wailord/41/Waterpulse, surf, facade, waterfall
His moveset, for now, is just a set that will let me do stuff i need to do. after i get into Ever Grade City and the elite four, ill get rid of waterfall. Ill then teach him ice beam. Ill get rid of facade for Body slam (if i can). Then if i get rid of waterpulse, ill teach it something else (please think of something for me).

Roselia/41/cut, ingrain, Magical leaf, grasswhistle
I have no idea why i got rid of Giga drain for ingrain. it is something i did on accident, after all it was at the top of my team. In the end i will Have him know Magical leaf, Sludge Bomb, Grasswhistle, and name a move for cut. either that or keep it.

Slaking/43/Slash, Yawn, focus punch, shock wave
The reason i like slaking is because he is very powerfull and he has great health. Roght now He only has 9 less health than Wailord. before he evolved into slaking, he only had 4 health. After he evolved he had 79 health. thats a big difference for those who cant do math very good. I like his moveset right now, even though i think that i will get rid of shock wave for thunderbolt. who agrees with me. If not that then what should i get rid of for shock wave. Be warned though, the electrical attacks have helped me a lot in the past.

Groudon/45/slash, bulk up, earthquake, fire blast
In the end he will know solar beam, eruption, slash, and fire blast/flamethrower. this is a good moveset.

Right now i am going on a training expedition. im trying to train Bagon while traveling on all the routes in order. Ill keep checking in.

Catch a Nincada or some its evoulution lines, and maybe Feebas, if you can catch one. These pokemon are what they call Erratic Level Growing group. They grow levels real fast. About only 600,000 experience points to be lv.100.

Eevee234: they do grow fast, but most of those pokemon reek.

Canadian Bacon: Your list isn't small anymore, ill tell you that much.

Bagon - Too offensive. take out flamethrower/crunch for bulk up.
Blaziken - Kill stregnth for slash, double kick for bulk up.
Wailord - Surf/waterpulse/rest/body slam
Roselia - Toxic for cut.
Slaking - I won't help you with him if you use him. he is a terrible pokemon and too easy to counter.
Groudon - I'd replace with kyogre - calm mind/ice beam/body slam/water spout

Actually, a way to use Wailords HP as a pysical advantage. Train it to lv.45 and it will learn Water Spout. Water Spout does half of Wailords total HP as damage.

i like elemental and physical attacks, stop telling me to teach them something like Bulk Up or something like that. I dont see why none of you like Slaking? Have you not raised one before or something.

i actually have raised one before. in battle, you will see it get flattened and tossed aside.

If you don't use techiniques like Bulk Up, the only ones you will win against are little kids that don't know how to play.

Canadian bacon, don't start a topic if you aren't willing to take suggestions and are going to rudely ignore the suggestions people are telling you.

Fine, ill teach him Bulk Up, just to power up his Focus punch. Focus punch hasnt been that strong anyway, against certian pokemon. His moveset will be- Yawn, Focus Punch, Slash, Bulk Up. If I Use yawn, He wont get flattened (until they wake up). The rest of my team i like the way they are.

i already tried 6 legendaries, i had all the regis, Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza. the regis suked and i didnt feel like trying to raise a bunch of legendaries after i cought them all

Yeah, your right. Usually after i get bored of a game, i just reset it. ill probobly just raise this team to as high as i can get them before i die of bordom and then either trade them to my friends so i can keep the team, put it on that pokemon box thing, put it on pokemon Collusium, or just trade files with a friend to keep the team alive. I know this isnt really a small team anymore, but i dont care. Im open to new movesets to any one now, again, just answer and ill get back to you on it.

heh, Canadian Bacon, I would never do that but i guess im different from you. Anyway, Wailord is effective if you play him like chansey: Attach a leftovers to him and teach him:

Rest Bodyslam Surf Water Pulse

This will surely anger your oppoment as he tries to destroy Wailord, but then when hes finally ready to die he regains all of his health!

Ok, but i dont know about the moveset. I want him to know Surf, Dive (because diving is very mandatory), Ice Beam, and Body Slam.I like this moveset. I just evolved my Bagon into a Salmance and you're wrong about it being easy to raise Bagon. I worked all morning to raise him from level 40 to 50. It was a pain in the butt. but during the training, i made it to Ever Grande City and the elite four. I am going to keep training until i raise everyone to levels around 50. Heres my team now.
Name/Level/Attacks

Blaziken/43/Slash, strength, aerial ace, Blaze Kick
I hadnt erased Strength when she tried to learn slash, so im going to get rid of strength i will teach her double Kick and after she is strong enough i wil get rid of that for Sky Uppercut.

Wailord/43/Surf, Faade, Water Pulse, Dive
You already know his future moveset so i dont need to say anything else.

Slaking/44/Slash, yawn, Focus Punch, Shock wave.
I am going to, in the end, get rid of shock wave for Bulk up to strengthen up his focus punch.

Roselia/44/Cut, Ingrain, magical leaf, grasswistle
in the end she will know sludge bomb, magical leaf, cut, and either grasswhistle or toxic. which one should i choose?

Groudon/46/Slash, rock smash, earthquake, fire blast
It will know eruption, solarbeam, fire blast/flamethrower, slash/dragon claw.

Salmance/50/earthquake, Dragon Claw, Crunch, Fly
In the end he will know Dragon Claw, Fly, earthquake, flamethrower/fireblast

this is my present/future team. How do you like it. Please comment.

its a little late mitsirugi, and besides that team is based on brute strength of just attacking. You never spread out the elements... Grass, Fire, Water, Flying are needed. sometimes electricity is used. as you can tell my team has fighting, fire, water, grass, poison, normal, ground, flying and dragon. its a pretty well spread out team. your team has dragon, water, psychic, flying, and mabey fire, water or grass. that team might work, but you wont be able to attack some types. like ice for instance. you have 3 dragons who have a major weakness to ice. i rest my case.
