Went to Northern California Regional Championships with this similar deck (Made Top 16). I enjoyed it so much that I have revised it to for WORLDS.
Pokemon: 20
4-3-4 Gengar (SF)
2-2 Cladyol
1 Unown G
1 Mespirit
1 Uxie
2 Crobat G
Energy: 8
8 Psychic Energy
Stadium/Trainers/Supporters: 32
3 Broken Time Space
4 Rare Candy
4 Roseanne's Research
4 Bebe's Search
4 Lookers Investigation
4 Poketurn
4 Super Scoop Up
2 Night Maintenance
2 Warp Point
1 Luxury Ball
sychic:sychic:
Strategy:
Start with Gastly, and Pitch Dark to slow down opponents build. Hopefully get a T2 Gengar and Poltergeist or Shadow Room for any situation, and basically spam Gengars till you win. THIS DECK DOES NOT RELY ON FAINTING SPELL (But it is a handy Poke-Power to get you ahead ).
Mespirit serves for the soul purpose of preventing poke powers. With Super Scoop Up combo + Mespirit can be devastating for other players. It can also be used for Crobat if you are in need of an extra drop.
Any Suggestions?
