Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Sonic Heroes Expansion

And here are the final Trainer cards:

Rail Canyon
Trainer Card (Stadium Card)

If a Pokémon with Shadow, red face paint, or Omega in its name retreats, when paying Retreat Cost, instead of discarding one card, choose a card attached to the retreating Pokémon and attach it to the new Active Pokémon.

Bullet Station
Trainer Card (Stadium Card)

A Pokémon with Shadow, red face paint, or Omega may only be Knocked Out by an attack that does damage equal to that Pokémon's remaining HP (after Weakness and Resistance). If an attack would Knock Out a Pokémon with Shadow, red face paint, or Omega in its name and the damage isn't equal to that Pokémon's remaining HP, that Pokémon is not Knocked Out and its remaining HP becomes 10 instead.

Egg Fleet
Trainer Card (Stadium Card)

If an attack would Knock Out a Pokémon with Sonic, Shadow, Amy, or Espio in its name, 1 Energy card attached to the Pokémon that Knocked Out that Pokémon is discarded.

Final Fortress
Trainer Card (Stadium Card)

If a Pokémon with Sonic, Shadow, Amy, or Espio in its name tries to retreat during a player's turn, flip a coin. If heads, that Pokémon retreats successfully; if tails, that Pokémon cannot retreat and any damage done by that Pokémon during that turn is increased by 20 (before Weakness and Resistance).

Team Sonic
Trainer Card

During this turn, the Retreat Cost of any Pokémon with Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles in its name is 0.

That's it for part three. Part four is coming right up.

Now for part four of the expansion. Pokémon-ex time. This part is completed.

Espio's Victreebel ex
140 HP {G}

Stage 2 Pokémon (evolves from Espio's Weepinbell)

When Pokémon-ex has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 prize cards.

Poke-POWER: Frenzy Frainforest Orchidvines
Once during your turn (before your attack), you look at your opponent's hand. If there are any Basic Pokémon there, choose 1 of them and play it on your Bench. That Pokémon is considered to be one of your Pokemon. You may attach Energy, attack and so on, except that Pokémon cannot evolve in any way. If that Pokémon is Knocked Out, it goes to your opponent's discard pile (any other cards attached to it go to your discard pile), and your opponent still draws a Prize. This power can't be used if Espio's Victreebel ex is affected by a Special Condition.

Poké-BODY: Supreme Epiphytic Scavenger
Whenever 1 of your Pokémon (excluding Pokémon-ex) is Knocked Out, return the Knocked Out Pokémon and all cards attached to it to its owner's hand after discarding it.

Here's part one of the e-Reader data:

If you scan in every single Pokémon with Sonic in its name that does not have Super or Hyper in its name, as well as a character Trainer from any of the three SA2B expansions or this set, into an e-Reader not connected to anything and you'll play a brand new zone with a classic Sonic the Hedgehog 3 feel. Another stage can be accessed by scanning in all the Tails Pokémon. Stages for Knuckles, red face paint, Omega, Big, Cream, Charmy, and Vector, as well as Shadow, Amy, and Espio (all non-Super/Hyper) are also avaiable. It should also be noted that the red face paint card from this set has different controls from the red face paint card from the SA2B sets. Here's a list of the controls:

Sonic and Shadow: A or B Once--Jump; A or B Twice--Shield Function (See Below); Down+A or Down+B--Spin-Dash
Tails and red face paint (SH): A or B Once--Jump; A or B Twice--Fly/Swim; Down+A or Down+B--Spin-Dash
Knuckles and red face paint (SA2B): A or B Once--Jump; A or B Twice--Cling/Glide; Down+A or Down+B--Spin-Dash
Eggman (SA2B): A Once--Jump; A Twice--Double Jump; B--Fire Weapon; Down+A--Spin-Dash; Down+B--Laser
Omega: A Once--Jump; A Twice--Cling/Glide; B--Fire Weapon; Down+A--Spin-Dash; Down+B--Laser
Amy: A Once--Jump; A Twice--Shield Function (See Below); B--Swing Hammer; Down+A--Spin-Dash; Down+B--Hammer Spin Attack
Cream: A Once--Jump Cream; B Once--Jump Cheese; A Twice--Hover/Swim Cream; B Twice--Double Jump Cheese; Down+A--Spin-Dash Cream; Down+B--Spin-Dash Cheese
Big: A Once--Jump; A Twice--Midair Punch; B Once--Punch; B Twice--Cast Fishing Rod; Down+A--Spin-Dash; Down+B--Cast Fishing Rod Backwards
Espio: A Once--Jump; A Twice--Shield Function (See Below); B Once--Dodge; B Three Times--Cloak (5 sec.); Down+A--Spin-Dash; Down+B--Cloak (mash button)+Dodge
Charmy: A Once--Jump; A Twice--Fly/Swim; B--Sting; Down+A--Spin-Dash; Down+B--Stinger Gun
NOTE: Charmy can fly and launch stingers while spin-dashing.
Vector: A Once--Jump; A Twice--Midair Punch; B--Punch; Down+A--Spin-Dash; Down+B--Shake Ground

Here's the Speed formation shield function: If no shield is equipped, a shield is generated for a split second. If a Water Shield is equipped, a Speed character will bounce, and any character can breathe underwater. If a Fire Shield is equipped, a Speed character will do a midair horizontal dash and any character is unharmed by fire. If a Lightning Shield is equipped, sparks fly with a double jump from a Speed character, and any character attracts Rings like a magnet.

The Control Pad moves all characters (Charmy hovers, everyone else walks), allows Knuckles/SA2B red face paint/Omega to climb walls after clinging, and allows Cream to move while hovering.

If Cheese gets separated from Cream, Cheese will eventually find its way back to Cream. If Cheese loses a life while Cream escapes perishing, Cheese will rejoin Cream after 10 seconds.

The Super Sonic Pokémon, when scanned in with the Sonic Pokémon, expands the stage with more obstacles, Rings, and the like. The stage can be expanded to maximum size when adding in Hyper Sonic Pokémon to the scanning. Likewise, Shadow's, Amy's, and Espio's stages can be expanded by using their respective Super and Hyper Pokémon.

While linked to Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic Advance, Sonic Advance 2, or Sonic Pinball Party, scanning a Chao puts that Chao in the corresponding game's Chao Garden.

The Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, red face paint, and Amy character Trainers serve the same purpose while connected to Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic Advance, Sonic Advance 2, Sonic Advance 3, and Sonic Pinball Party as they did in the SA2B sets. Cream also has compatability with this data. Here's a compatability list:

Sonic: All
Tails: All
Knuckles: All
Shadow: Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Only
red face paint: Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Only
Amy: All except Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Cream: Sonic Advance 2 and Sonic Advance 3 Only

You can scan any character Trainer (as well as both SA2B and SAE versions of the Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, and red face paint cards) into one of the games in Sonic Mega Collection to play that game with that character.

If you scan anyone other than Sonic into Sonic 1, you can play Sonic 1 as that character. (Knuckles, red face paint (SA2B), and Omega get their gliding ability, but otherwise all characters are the same as Sonic). To play as Sonic again, just scan Sonic.

Scanning any non-Team Sonic character into Sonic 2 allows play as that character (red face paint (SA2B) and Omega get all Knuckles's abilities, everyone else is similar to Sonic.) Simply scan a Team Sonic character to be able to play as the default characters again.

Scanning any non-Team Sonic character into Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, or Sonic 3 and Knuckles allows you to play a "no-save" game as that character, with the same abilities as with the e-Zones. With Sonic and Knuckles: the character you scan replaces one of the characters on the title screen. Shadow replaces Sonic, red face paint replaces Knuckles, Omega replaces Knuckles, Amy replaces Sonic, Cream replaces Sonic, Big replaces Knuckles, Espio replaces Sonic, Charmy replaces Sonic, Vector replaces Knuckles. Simply scan Sonic or Knuckles to get that character back while keeping the power on). You can also play as them in Blue Spheres--scan the card and the bumper color will change to the character you scanned, pressing a toggle button will change the character back, so careful!

If you scan the Energy cards into any Sonic Advance game, a blank Chao will appear with no emotions. Link that game to the DS game Feel the Magic XY/XX (use the GBA cartridge slot on the DS), it will become one of two Feel the Magic-based Chao for the Chao Garden.

The team and formation cards are scannable into Sonic Heroes on the Gamecube (this obviously won't work on the PS2, Xbox, or PC). First, pick a team and a stage. Don't start the stage yet--instead, scan a team card into the e-Reader. You'll now play one team's mission as a different team.

As for the formation cards, these are used with the Sonic Heroes set character trainers to actually customize teams. Pause the game during gameplay and scan a formation card, then scan a matching-formation character. Unpause and the character you scanned will now appear in that formation! You can customize all three formations in this way. An example customized team: Sonic, Charmy, and Omega, playing a Team Rose mission.

The seven Berries, when scanned into Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire, scans one of a completely new Berry into the game. Here's a full list of what scans what (the names are the same unless noted, only all caps), as well as what flavor that berry has:

No. B6 OMEGA BERRY No Flavor
No. B7 AMY BERRY Spicy
No. B8 CREAM BERRY Bitter
No. B9 BIG BERRY Dry
No. C0 ESPIO BERRY Spicy/Dry
No. C1 CHARMY BERRY Dry/Sweet
No. C2 VECTOR BERRY Sour
B6=116; B7=117; B8=118; B9=119; C0=120; C1=121; C2=122

The matching berry tags (all have Sega and Sonic Team logos at one bottom corner):

OMEGA BERRY--"A berry that resembles a character that represents OMEGA, E-123 in the line of E-SERIES robots."
AMY BERRY--"A berry that resembles AMY ROSE, a character deeply in love with SONIC."
CREAM BERRY--"A berry that resembles CREAM, a CHAO-loving rabbit with her own CHAO named CHEESE."
BIG BERRY--"A berry that resembles a cat that's large like this BERRY. Fishing is his hobby."
ESPIO BERRY--"A berry that resembles the chameleon leader of TEAM CHAOTIX."
CHARMY BERRY--"A berry that resembles a bee that sees dollar signs 24/7."
VECTOR BERRY--"A berry that resembles a large character with a dollar sign fetish."

Each berry takes 24 hours to grow, yields 2-4 berries per harvest, and yields an average Pokéblock level of 25.

And here are the game effects:

OMEGA BERRY--Increases DEFENSE on contact.
AMY BERRY--On contact, reduces SPEED and raises ATTACK.
CREAM BERRY--Increases evasiveness on contact.
BIG BERRY--Sharply increases DEFENSE on contact but prevents switching.
ESPIO BERRY--On contact, reduce's foe's accuracy.
CHARMY BERRY--On contact, poisons the foe and raises the foe's SP.DEF.
VECTOR BERRY--Sharply increases ATTACK and SP.ATK on contact but prevents switching.
