You know, I think I try too hard sometimes. I want people to get better and I figure if these things aren't blatantly obvious to them, they're not a threat to me anyways. So while you and I may agonize for hours over 1 or 2 slots in a deck, most people are just here to have fun and they're quite content playing a deck that is 70% "correct." The kicker is that, the people who I disregard because they play Shuckle in their Blastoise are the same people who will donk a win off me in Swiss and cost me a Trip somewhere along the line.

At least if everyone were equal we would know what to expect, correct? That is the dilemma afterall. Autowins are nice but it gives you a false sense of comfort. Its a hopeless cause but my instincts and desire to aid will always force at least a part of me to continually pound ideas into people's heads, knowing they will never get it.

The sad thing is it's true. Some guy is going to play Giraffe in his LBS, AND play Jirachi DX and he's going to donk me and I'll lose. =\

Well if I was playing lbs I wouldve have known that my peers would be playing Jirachi (Which alot of people where) and went with Giraffe instead of Jirachi. If you start with Giraffe and they start with jirachi they cant help them selves but you can hurt your opponent or help you. What I am trying to say is giraffe was good tech at the tournament today and I wouldve thought it to be a good choice over jirachi if I went but hey thats just me. I am not saying play BOTH that would be crazy but I would have loved to see the look on kyles face if he wouldve swooped that pidgey for a giraffe. His deck was like lbs except for porygon 2 I dont think I have seen that before but it was a neat idea.
