St. Louis MO Regionals Nov 12 and 13 in Crestwood MO

Will Troll & Toad be there each of the days (specifically Friday)? If so, do they usually have a limit as to the amount of commons/uncommons bulk they buy at events like these? I know they don't really have a limit if you ship them but just wondering about live exchanges.

A couple of questions.

I' ve got some friends who want to come but they have stuff to do later Sunday evening for the VGC event. Do you have any general idea on when they'll be free to go? Looking at the information you posted I'd guess we'd start at 1 PM and be done by 4PM-ish (since there isn't a top cut). Would you say that's about right?

Also, I have zeeeeeeero experience with TCG. What is an "8 person runner"?
 
I am not sure we would be done by 4:00 pm on Sunday. I think 6:00 would be "conservative" for Masters VGC.

An 8-person runner is an event where 8 people sign up and play 3 rounds.

Everyone gets a pack for every round they win, and even the 0-3 player is guaranteed a pack.

Fun tourneys that don't last all day.

Troll has been told they are making a MISTAKE if they are not there on Friday, they were last year.

Oh, and for the record, the following sets are not legal at the TCG Regionals:

Noble Victories
Extreme Victory
Photon Shockwave

If I see any of you trying to Lost Zone a Rescue Rabbit to summon 2 Pachirisu with 4 lightning mana in your hand, and then Shaymin the mana around, we are going to have issues, and it will probably cost you 10 life on your spin-down counter.

I truly take offense to anyone who thinks I have my games confused.

Quick question: On the Pokemon website, it says whether top cut is on the first day or not depends on attendance. Is that per age division? I know Master's top cut will be day 2 no matter what, but depending on attendance will junior and senior top cuts maybe be day 1? Or are you planning on having them do top cut day 2 regardless?

I ask because I doubt me and my two younger siblings will be able to go both days (driving from Columbia), and was just curious as to whether they'd be able to play top cut or not (I know I probably couldn't).
 
At this point, we are planning to do all 3 top cuts on day 2. It seems easier on the players, especially the younger 2 age groups that are not used to this large of an event, or this long of a day.

I cant wait for this event, i wont be their for the friday night events most likley (since im coming from south east wisconsin and i got school) but ill defenitly be their saturday! I cant wait!
 
How much does Troll n Toad usually pay for commons, uncommons, rares, legends, etc? I have somewhere around 1500-2000 cards from the modified format that are extras, and would like to unload them if the deals good enough.
 
Pursuant to their site, Troll pays 4 cents each for commons and uncommons from Pokemon, and that is their show price.

Yes, Yeti has a Yugioh Duel Terminal (watch this post go up in flames now) and it will be raring to go.

I'm reading all the things that are planned for the St. Louis Regional and I am liking that it is getting the feel of nationals. (minus the extra day :lol:)

I am actually liking this idea of splitting the regionals because this is giving us more opportunities to go out and meet more faces on the gym. I may actually bring Evelyn along for the trip

(Evelyn is the Eevee I found on the side of the road a couple years back... literally :biggrin:)
 
Once again, smile and nod, we are not going to take a back seat to Nationals in any way shape or form.

I am pretty convinced that Nationals got some of their tricks from this guy.

In all seriousness, I CAN NOT wait!

Need to contact my Troll Rep - but they should be here buying on ALL THREE DAYS! (Friday INCLUDED)
