Early on Rampardo only killing little basics..... Once Rampardo finish killing those 2 basics he will have 80 damges on himself. If he dont want to kill it and do reduction then i get another turn to set up. Rampardo is no where near Kingdra speed nor late game. So I rather play Kingdra.
Self damages and fossils starts all hurt Rampardo as a decent deck.

Slaking is amazing.... 150? Weavile to charge?

yum yum yum yum yum
weavile is a dilicios rampardos snack, and serving up a slacking is just adding to americas obiecity problem

al in good fun, but rampardos murdures slacking:lol:

Similar to the way your spelling murders the English language, correct?

The Slaking idea was simply a bait doll, I threw it out here just to see what you guys would come up with and say. So let me get this out of the way.
Slaking is terrible. 4 energy is unforgivable when he shortens his own life span with his attack, though I do like the ideas you guys came up with....

Continue.

Does Memory berry be discarded, if it is attached on an attacking pokemon? I think Slaking can beat Rampardos, because Slaking can recover itself. If you play it with Togekiss, your matchup should be better. Furthermore you need Dialga G X and a lot of warp energy/Switches.

Wait, so how does Slaking get energy acceleration if its attack costs 4 to use? Aside from Togiplane, which isn't as consistent.

Slaking loses to Rampardos.
He attacks, he dies, and Ramp does it for one energy.
STOP. IT. Seriously, its an auto loss.

Memory berry + flail is the way. Furthermore i dont say that you need the 4 C attack. For extra dmg play rainbow energy, pp, miasma valley and bucks.

And then you hit for anywhere from 10-20 with flail, or you hit them for STILL not enough for a OHKO if they use the reduction attack.
If you wanna flail so badly, go nuts with Gyrados MT.

After doing some deep thinking, I take back what I said before. Slaking can be a great deck, but I don't think it can win based on his attack. Rather, focusing on healing/switching every turn (going on the assumption that memory berry doesn't get discarded like beach has said it won't) in an effort to deck them (flailin in between healing). My only problem with this type of deck is that it takes like 5 different pokemon in play to work...ew.

There are two ways to get dialga g lvx on the field.
1) premier ball and then use either weavile and moonlight stadium or switches and warp points
2) level max the dialga g on the bench.

Does anybody think that Abomasnow Machamp and T-tar will still be good for City's?

I think that the best decks will be
Champ: T1 donk and good endgame
Abomasnow: Good spread and reduces damage, kinda annoying
G decks: the G's are kinda broken.
Kingdra: Kingdra is nvr gonna die.

If any form of grass decks see play at states, Scratch Obama from the record. Its matchup against Kingdra is favorable, but Grass decks have a tendency to have meaty HP's, sometimes resistance, and some of them even sport life gain to boot.

Dialga G LX says hi to Obama, as well.
