Summer Tournaments at Pastimes FINAL TOURNAMENT AUG 14

Just as long as it's a weekend, I'll pretty much be there. Just give me some heads up if its gonna be on a Sunday so that I can get out of work on those days (can't get out of my weekday job, sry).
 
How does July 10 sound for everyone? We might even be able to do a little team play action for those of you going to Brookfeild. BTW July 17 I will be at pastimes running duel masters. There will be a large number of events running at pastimes that weekend.

The best performances on Team Chicago were Jason C. with a 2nd place at 11-14, and honorary member Kyle S. with 2nd at 15+. July 10 is a good date, expect me there.

Next one will be July 31. For that tournament I was thinking multi-format, but only if we can have at LEAST 8 people. My plan is 3 rounds draft 2-3 rounds constructed. It would be 3 EX legends packs. Cost is $16 I think. How does that sound?
 
That sounds superb, i should have my deck complete by then... for the draft do we get 3 packs or 6 cause u said "It would be 3 EX legends packs" or are those the prizes?

I was going to run one on the 17 but it seems that many people are going to brookfield for a team play event. I will be at pastimes running duelmasters or neopets anyways. As for july 31 the draft would be 3 packs to play withP(drafted) with energy provided, and prizes would be different.
 
Do you know exactly how many tournaments there might be during August? I wont be able to attend either one of the tournaments on July 17 and on July 31 (stupid family stuff. Here they say I should be proud of what I do, but I cant when I cant even attend a tournament without some sort of family vacation occuring. Lets just say my appearances in the HL pre-release and a few weeks ago were by pure luck)

Prereleases will be going on at both Worlds and GenCon and will then take place the next weekend (for people who were unable to make it to one of the two big events)
 
Okay so heres the deal for this saturday
either we do
2 tournaments for $5 each. Each tournament will be 3 rounds and I will make the decision on if there is a tie for first and or second place whether we will play it out.

or
1 tournament for $8 with mucho EX-Legends prizes, that will be 5-6 rounds long.

Either way I think I can get minimum one pack per person with prizes for top 4


How does that sound? Now that said, help me make a list of all the people who are comming so I can figure out exactly what we are going to do. Last time after the first tournament everyone opened their packs so quickly we didnt have time to talk of a draft. Lets make a note of that second time around.

me gusta mucho. Lez just hope there's enough ppl there to sanction this time. I might or might not be bringing my cousins, depends on how I'm feeling that day.
