Here is the new Melee set, which is all based on characters, items and stages that appeared in you guessed it, Super Smash Bros. Melee for Gamecube.

Not only does set introduced a whole bunch of new Smashers, Support cards and Stage cards, Water type Smashers and Dark type Smashers make their first appearence here.

For more information on the differences between the Smash Cards and the Pokemon TCG, click here.

Also click here if you want to see more Smash card sets.

Wow, these cards seems just as good as the Original Set.

I like the little gamcube logo as a set symbol. I thought that was pretty cool.

I'd like to see some water smashers. Dark Link is most likely going to be a dark smasher, and I'm guessing maybe Ice Climbers for water?

Goomba was a cool idea. I'd like to see if the other little enemies (Topi,Octorock, etc.) act just like it.

Haha, funniest thing for me though is that Bill=Toad

All in all, great job. I'd love to see the rest of these :thumb:

Noticed something I thought I should comment on. You should add this wording to the end of Peach's Castle:

"(This does not count as that Smasher being Knocked out)"

Haha, I see you have a lot of Water Smashers this time around. Good to see :thumb:

I love the picture for flipper. I completely forgot about that stage in Melee

So, a few minor errors you may want to fix :

Topi -
In the move "Snow Baller," change the comma after Topi to a period.

Party Ball -
Delete "number of" as it is unnecessary

Icicle Mountain -
Change "that aren't :water:" to this "(Excluding any :water: Smashers)"

Brinstar Escape Shaft -
Haha, well, when you said this was going to be a complicated card, you were definately right.

I think it's a neat effect that really keeps true to the game, but in my opinion, it is slightly over complicated.

And yes, the card is broken, as having no Smashers in play "breaks" the rules of the game.

Lol thanks, there's a couple more funny supporter cards for the Melee set coming up soon.

I made the text corrections to the cards you suggested, and I decided on completely changing Brinstar Escape Shaft's effects.

Brinstar Escape Shaft

That player discards that Smasher and all cards attached to them (This does not count as that Smasher being Knocked Out). If they do, that player may choose another 1 of their Smashers. That player returns that Smasher and all cards attached to it to their hand.

Can't believe I never thought of it before XD, but I'm not sure if this card's also too cheap or not. I did add in an extra rule to stop people from putting up weaker Smashers then using the card's effects on the same turn.

Haha, the Zelda cards. All of these look nice.

I especially like Young Link because it's power acts like a baby pokemon. :thumb:

And I've noticed a small number of errors that may need to be fixed.

Link:
In Link's Magic Sword Bullet attack, delete the word "and" in the first sentence.

Great Bay:
Reword it so that it says this

"Each Player can't have more than 3 Benched Smashers. Any player who has 4 or more Benched Smashers chooses 3 of his or her Benched Smashers. Shuffle the other Benched Smashers and all cards attached to them into the deck"

Fewer erros this time around, so it looks like you're getting better. Great job, I'd love to see more cards soon :thumb:

Sadly it maybe quite a while before the next batch gets released. I'm gonna attempt making my own illustrations for a couple of the cards in the next batch.

Like I said in the previous post, it'll be a while before I can post the next batch (Might take me about 2-3 more days), but to keep you guys occupied for another day, I will show you one of the cards from the next batch, one which contains an illustration made by me.

Pichu 30HP [L]
Stage Basic

Smash Power: Baby Evolution
Once during your turn (Before your attack), you may put Pikachu from your hand onto Pichu (This counts as evolving Pichu) and remove all damage counters from Pichu.

Smash Body: Charm
If Pichu is attacked by your opponent, your opponent flips a coin. If tails, that attack does nothing.

[L][C] Overspark 30
Flip a coin. If tails, Pichu does 10 damage to itself.

Don't expect anything like this that often, only one other card from Melee set will include an illustration made by me (Excluding Energy cards). But in future, I may make a mini-set with cards that contain illustrations all made by me.

Sorry for the delay, past couple of days have been rough for me.

Pikachu 50HP [L]
Stage Basic

Smash Power: Electro Recycle
Once during your turn (Before your attack), if Pichu is anywhere under Pikachu, you may search your discard pile for a [L] Energy card, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. This power can't be used if Pikachu is affected by a Special Condition.

[L][C] Skull Bash 50
If Pikachu isn’t evolved from Pichu, Pikachu does 20 damage to itself.

Each Basic Energy card attached to Giant Kirby provides every type of Energy but provides only 1 Energy at a time.

[C] Inhale
Choose any Smasher in play (Yours or your opponent's) and place 2 damage counters on that Smasher. Giant Kirby may use that Smasher’s attacks as his own (Giant Kirby must still have the Energy necessary to perform that attack), until Giant Kirby uses Inhale or Giant Kirby is Knocked Out.

Where is the Ness and Lucas Cards?
Wario can poisin people.
Ice Climbers can be like a legend card. :D

Ness can be found in the first Super Smash Bros. set below.

http://pokegym.net/forums/showthread.php?t=127493

Lucas won't be appearing until the Brawl Newcomers set sorry, but fortunately that is the next set straight after the Melee set, so you won't have too long to wait. While I do have something similar to Legend cards planned, that won't be happening for a long time I'm afraid.

This next batch contains mostly Dark type Smashers, so this batch should be interesting.

Ganondorf 80HP [D]

Smash Power: Darkness Drive
If Ganondorf is damaged by an opponent’s attack (Unless if Ganondorf is Knocked Out), you may flip a coin. If heads, search your discard pile for a [D] Energy card and attach it to Ganondorf. This power stops working while Ganondorf is affected by a Special Condition.

when the parakoopas hp is reduced to zero you should have them de-evolve without your opponent taking a prize card

That would make them too good, though suppose I could lower their HP or have it so the Body is activated when their HP drops below a certain level.

just give them 30 hp and the body like you previously stated only make sure they are discarded and they cannot evolve again
