And yet, gimpy prolly makes money at the game.. I guess real pros don't need to make money to be pros, oh wait...

Hold it, thunder got a buff from the last game. Just because ness can absorb it doesn't make it worse, they reduced the lag on the attack. Then there's that little trick with the headbutt you can do.
 
i heard that they are not doing any ties for the rounds? So does that mean that they are not doing sudden death? If so than HAL-LA-LU-YAH

Are you kdding me?! Sudden Death was half the reason I mained Shiek in Melee! Simply tie the game the PWN in Sudden Death! Come on man!!!!!

Oh yeah, that's not cheap.

Personally, I say Bullet's right and wrong at the same time. Yes, that's right. I agree that it's stupid to call them the best of the best because rule number one of anything: There will always be someone better than you". Chances are, the best gamers out there are the more casual ones, like me (but definitely not me. In no way is it me) who play purely for fun and who no one really knows about, same for just about everything. On the other hand, it's also incorrect to say that the MLG consists mainly of noobs, because there are some incredibly talented gamers there who employ some of the best strategies out there incredibly well, and even if they weren't, the matches are really entertaining to watch, and the last time I checked, the entire point of video games is entertainment. Therefore, if they have fun with it and put up a good show and a good fight, they're hardly n00bs, are they?

actually the countdown is 10 days, 12 hours, 57 minutes. Thats CST of course and for people whos seeking out the midnight release.
 
^ You can go get it at midnight and be soooooooooo tired the next morning that you wont be able to play it all day. : p

Im just going to get it in the morning.
 
yeah but I wont accept the fact that if I wait till like 9 in the morning that theirs hundreds of thousands of people playing it before me, least the english version.

Oh, yes, the absolute horror. I know I couldn't stand to have people actually playing a game before me. I mean seriously, that's preposterous! Seriously, it will not kill you if you get some shuteye and just go get it in the morning... provided it's not completely sold out at your local game stores by 6 AM.
 
You might have a point there, I guess it really depends on what mood I am in when time comes to.

But truly, I just like to see how many people show up on a midnight release.

Dont forget most people going to the midnight release will be in the gamestop tournaments they got to, which is too bad the one I go to dont have the dag nabbit tournament.
