There's some gameplay videos up on gamevideos.com. Sonic vs Link featuring Super Sonic final smash, Mario vs Samus featuring Samus' final smash and consequently Zero Suit Samus, and a final video featuring Diddy Kong's final smash and an alt colored Meta Knight (who looks really awesome I might add).
I cannot wait for this game to come out. I've had mine on reserve for a while, but at least getting a couple more months on it will give me a chance to pay for the whole thing, so it looks like I'm getting it for free when i do actually buy it.

Unfortunately, that date was confirmed at the conference, at least for now, knowing them, itll be pushed back again mid-Jan....

This has been noted in multiple threads over at Smashboards, which I frequent, so there was really no "OMG!" moment for me when I saw your post.
The "Icon theory," as they call it, confirms Captain Falcon and some Animal Crossing representative, as well as Mr. Game and Watch. Smashboards is down right now, but when it goes back up you can search for the thread and read up on it. (It's all fan speculation, but it makes a lot of sense.)
Also, hurrah for February 10th. Christmas rush? Forget that. We have to make it in time for VALENTINE'S DAY!11
