The Sunday morning road trip from Shenandoah to San Antonio is getting bigger. I had 2 more families confirm their trip at league last night. Can San Antonio handle all the pressure? Will Jose have breakfast waiting for us when we arrive? Waffles and juice, maybe some Dunkin Donuts.

Heck yes San Antonio can handle all the pressure. We're gonna defend our home turf no matter what it takes. Or at least I am because I dont want anybody stealing my trip.

The "Dallas~Gym Chellenge" has come and gone. Now for the "Poke-Weekend" of Texas!!! We had one "10-Under" winner in the "Dallas~GC" from The Woodlands, Matthew S. :thumb: So, get fired up because this coming weekend will get hotter than hot!!! :eek: Pokemon style that is. :biggrin:

The Jacksons are also extended family, because they lived in Carrolton I think. If you REALLY wanna be technical, then Texas has 4 people in 15+ going to worlds =P

Hey Austin I have no doubt that you will do well in Shenandoah and San Antonio, and with that attitude you will go far. I hope to meet you and wish you the best of luck at both the GC's. I respect your ambition and attitude towards getting your trip, but if we do happen to play eachother than expect a tough match because I'm not that easy to beat. (unless I get a horrible hand or something.) Ask PokeMasterFlabface (Frank) or lil' Jose (aka Steven)

Oh, I know you are hard to beat, Professer Elm, but if you are playing my mirror match and we both get a good set up, it's going to be in my Records of Big Showdowns in my journal.

I doubt I will be playing your mirror because my deck is kinda weird and unique, and only the guys and gals from SA know about it.
But I have no doubt that if we both get set up then our match will be a showdown to remember.
 
Ohhhhhhhh, it's gonna start getting crazy. I was up in Dallas this past weekend. I heard from alot of folks and it looks like Dallas and Oklahoma will be well represented at the Houston Area Gym Challenge. I tried (very hard I might say) to get Jose, his bro, and Double Trouble to change their minds about coming, but it didn't work. It looks as if Jose picked the Judas Priest concert with his wife over playing Pokemon with his Texas Family. I dunno, something about leather pants. We still have a few from San Antonio coming though.


Alright folks, Team Cook has the judges in place. We are putting the finishing touches on the door prizes, the Pokeballs are filled with goodies and we are FIRED UP about this event. Last week we had 3 articles in 2 different newspapers about Pokemon and the word is out that June 25th is Pokemon day in Shenandoah, Texas.


As far as San Antonio is concerned, we have a HUGE caravan heading to the Alamo City on Sunday morning for the second part of this GREAT weekend. MPB will be taking good care of us this fine day. I hear Jose will be providing breakfast for all that show up from the Houston Gym. Gimme big waffles and lots of bacon.

Word of warning. Don't come to the Houston Area Gym Challenge unless you have the following. :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile: That's right, a smile on your face. This will be a FUN day, A POKEFUN day. If you can't handle the fun, stay home.

You can never have too much fun when you're playing pokemon. Heck if i get a trip then i'll probably be testing my deck for Worlds the very next day.
 
If I won a trip, I would test my deck out that day and everyday after you win until the night before the World tourney so you get a really good sleep.
