News from our testbench.

First of all u have to calculate all possible risks and leave some doors open.
Speed Deoxys Ex works perfectly against safe guards, but is safe guard that kind of risk?
If u are playing with holon engine u have to add defense Deoxys ex, because Speed has 110hp and its not available to search by Mentor.
You can't just add cards against everydeck and if u try to u are going down.
More important is make deck so stand rock solid.
Bf is best Stadium what we have been found this far.
Rocket's Raikou Ex ROX.
If u are playing strong holong engine u will not need dual balls.

So i would like to know what u think about Safe Guard risk. Is it threat or not?

i need to add on very important thing.

Don't leave Girafarig out.
Girafargi is one corner stone to win LBS.
Without Girafarig there is no much what u can do.
Just my opinion and its stands for over 100 playtest games.

I would like to heard thoughts about ER2 and Dual Ball over Engine?

I am deathly afraid of the safeguard but I am still debating rather to play deoxys or not because of T-tar and ex's also not just safe gard. Also I like Dual Ball/ER2 over the engine in this deck.

Another thing about multi if you start with multi and recharge and plan to megashot next turn there is no promise that you will be getting a holons pokemon so if you play another electric you have to discard everything where as when you play psychic you are sure that you wont have to discard.
You can't recharge with the Psychic.

That is true which is another minus of playing psychic but, if you start with an electric you can recharge and then attach a psychic next turn and megashot if you have to without having to discard all your energy. If you play multi and dont get the holons you have to discard EVERYTHING to use Megashot.

Manectric =/= Voltorb, that's why.

This deck can work in dozens of ways. The true origins of the deck go back to Worlds when, I believe, we all saw Yamato playing what I like to call Mew.dec. It played Rocket's Raikou amongst others but I believe it had Electrode ex. You can play either Electrode or Manectric, or both, its up to you. People are so stuck on this Manectric thing, its freggin scary. You still get a T1 Recharge with Voltorb and you can bring Energy back from the discard. Now, I'm fully aware that you can't bomb onto an ex but that doesn't mean Mew can't discard Energy from a benched Voltorb/Lunatone/Solrock/Girafarig.

This isn't the best deck in the format. Its really hard to even say there is a best deck but if I had to choose I wouldn't put this as #1. I'd probably put it anywhere from #3 - #5. The format is just a disaster now after this past weekends Regionals. It just sickens me. It really does.

Why the rocket's raikou -ex? That's the card I'm not seeing...Wouldn't it be safer to just add a DX manectric instead? Would give you the sniping attack for 1 energy, the lightning blast attack, and wouldn't leave another -ex on the bench to be sniped by steelix. Plus, it fits already with the electrikes...I see that its power is kind of nice, but do you really want to be stacking your energies down there on it instead of on mew?

Yes, Dendro, that's what I was saying from the start. I used to play Manectric EX/DX with Surprise. It's great! Too much Fighting though to withstand it all. With Mew EX....not bad! Rocket's Raikou EX is OK, but just adds more problems when facing Dustox EX, e.g.

Mew / Voltorb / Raikou (+ Ray Ex (DR)) was around at least a month before Worlds, (maybe not Yamato's version, I don't know when he first made it.). Manectric Ex is a lot better simply because of Disconnect. Disconnect makes the deck.

I don't know what the kind of lists that are seeing play now are like at all but from this one I would have to say that I wouldn't use Deoxys Ex Normal or Attack, and possibly not Speed, Safeguard isn't generally a problem, but I suppose if the Deoxys are being played then the Speed form would be neccesary against the Defense in mirror.

I rate this deck very highly, the ability to go offensive + disrupt gives complete control which can overwhelm most played decks and totally deny them a chance to setup. For this reason I'd incorporate Reversals + Lugia Ex, and Battle Frontier is an absolute neccesity.

Manectric over Raikou is interesting, but personally I don't think either are neccesary.
