This is the end of the Tier-1 archetype that dominate when other decks should like Rain Dance, Yanmega, Gengar, and Regigagas. SP is TERRIBLE! I'm glad it's dying at last. They had that coming for three formats now.
 I know right? At League today, I let my bro borrow my Luxchomp for 1 match and he played against a guy who played a counter SP deck, which was Rapidash and Sableye. He's alright at the game actually. My bro lost, he only took 1 prize. I used it and won. I like how SPs are a bit overpowered compared to other cards, but they take skill (or more skill) to play than other decks.lol, its cool that there is more variety in the meta now after the re-lease of HS triumphant, but im certainly not gonna pee myself in happiness over "SP's [supposedly] being dead" Its not my fault they're good. and even then, their only good if you're skilled enough to play it right lol. misplays are easily obtained with SP decks if not being used by a player skilled enough to play it right.
my advice:
get a decent list together, play test daily, tweak your list after each tournament, or even after league. anyone can complain about SP's being over powered if you dont take the time to find the "secret" to beating them with your own deck.
no no no. don't get ahead of yourself. luxchomp it self doesn't take that much skill.(2% to be exact.)
i went to a league in sd that you could play any deck. most people were playing sablelock and luxchomp and 1 plox. my friend let me use the luxchomp deck and i went and played with it. did not lose one match. all it takes is knowing what to snipe
FINALLY DOWN WITH THE LUXCHOMP!!!! I really am tired of luxchomp its way too overused
Looks like this post is a lightning-rod for people who either cannot afford SPs, or just don't like same people beating everyone all the time with them. Last option doesn't have to do anything with SPs, they would just beat everyone with Gyarados etc. I say to those people that say Sps don't take any skill: Up yours!(sorry to everyone, but it had to be said) One person from our league went to a big BR(25 people in seniors, where he was)with DialgaGarchomp. He had practiced with it for only a week, and he went 0-3 and dropped himself out. And he was in Top 4 at our nationals last year, so we can easily say he is a very good player. That proves ,that at least some SP-Decks DO take skill/enough practice.
I eagerly await the arrival of Lost World to truly clean up this SP mess that has been plaguing the format.
I have a hunch 80% of the players will have a party seeing 90% of all donk cards leaving the format.
Should i still make a sp deck or willl i get pwned
i can make a good one with help and im a pretty good player
